Pre-Matric Scholarship For Minority Students 2015-16:
Online applications are invited in the prescribed format from the students belonging to the (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Parsis & Jains) studying in 1st to 10th classes under Pre-Matric Scholarship scheme.

Conditions For Scholarship:
1. Students should be resident of Haryana state.
2. Student who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination.
3. Annual income from all sources of the students’ parents or guardian should not exceed Rs. One Lac.
4. Income certificate from the employer for employed parents/guardian or Certificate to be issued by the Competent Authority declared by the State Government/ UT Administration
5. Student obtaining benefits under this scheme will not be allowed to avail of any other benefit under any other scheme for pursuing the same course.
6. Aadhaar card number is required to apply online.

Rate of Scholarship:
1.Admission fee from class 6th to 10th:
Hostellers : Rs. 500/- per annum subject to actuals
Day Scholars : Rs. 500/- per annum subject to actuals

2.Tuition fee from class 6th to 10th:
Hostellers : Rs. 350/- per month subject to actuals.
Day Scholars : Rs. 350/- per month subject to actuals.

3.Maintenance allowance will be payable for a period not exceeding 10 months in an academic year:
i) Classes 1st to 5th:
Hostellers : Nil
Day Scholars : Rs. 100/- per month

ii) Classes 6th to 10th:
Hostellers : Rs. 600/- per month subject to actuals
Day Scholars : Rs. 100/- per month

Timeline :
For class IX & X (online):
1. Receipt of applications from students by Institutions/ States scrutiny by institutions/ States Administration – 1st May 2015 to 31st July 2015
2. Submission of online proposals by state – 1st July to 31st August 2015
3. Bank validation by Public Finance Management System and release Scholarship amount to students through DBT mode – 1st Sep to 18th Oct 2015

How to apply:
1. Eligible students can apply online on the website www.scholarships.gov.in.
2. Students will forward their applications online to the Institutions and will also take a printout. This printout along with all requisite documents will be submitted to the concerned institutions.
