MCM Scholarship :

Online applications in the prescribed form along with a latest Income Certificate from Tehsildar/ SDO / BDO/ MRO/ Anchal Officer/ Chairman /Executive Officer of Municipal Corporation or Income Tax Return / Certificate issued by Govt. organization in original / will be invited for Merit-Cum-Means (MCM) from all B.Tech and M.Sc students.

Applications for remission of tuition fee is from B.Tech batch admitted from 2016 onwards. Eligibility criteria and other details for the award of the MCM, Remission of tuition fee and Interest subvention for the AY 2017-18 is mentioned below:-

Academic Program :
1st Year of B.Tech & 1st Year of MSc

Eligibility Criteria :
(a) For All Categories: Students whose parental Gross Income is not more than Rs. 6,00,000/- per Annum.

Benefits :
Maximum of 25% intake of BTech. and MSc. students will be awarded.

MCM Scholarship :
For Gen & OBC-NC:
Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarship of Rs. 1000/- per month with Benefit of exemption of Tuition fee

For SC, ST & PWD of all Categories:
Facilities of Free Messing (only basic menu), a Pocket Allowance of Rs. 250/- per Month and Hostel Seat Rent.

Academic Program :
2nd ,3rd and 4th Year of B.Tech & 2nd Year of MSc

Eligibility Criteria :
The renewal of MCM scholarship can be recommended on the following conditions.

(i) The awardees apply fresh for renewal with all required documents.
(ii) The student must have secured minimum CPI of 6.0 at the time of application submission and should not have any course in which he /she has not earned credits.
(iii) The income should not be more than the ceiling fixed (as above mentioned) for such scholarship. If a student submits the income certificate which is beyond the specified ceiling his/her scholarship shall be withheld and can be transferred to other eligible student who fulfills the criteria.

Benefits :
a) For Gen & Gen-PWD OBC-NC & OBC-NC, PWD Category:
Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarship of Rs. 1000/- per month with benefit of exemption tuition.

For SC & SC-PWD, ST & ST-PWD Category:
Facilities of Free Messing (only basic menu), a Pocket Allowance of Rs. 250/- per month and Hostel Seat Rent.

Note:
1. Student who will get above scholarship can’t avail any other scholarship from any Govt., Semi-Govt. Or private sources.
2. Decision of the Institute / the concerned committee in this regard will be final.
