Madarasa Scholarship :

** For the year 2017-18 Proposals are being called from all the Registered Madrasas in the State to avail Financial Assistance under Modernisation of Madrasas Scheme to provide Modern, Formal and Computer Education.

** Interested Madrasas can avail the assistance by submitting the proposals to the concerned District Officer, Minority Welfare Department.
** Madrasas who have already submitted proposals for this scheme during the year 2016-17 need not submit proposals again.

** For the year 2017-18 under Modernisation of Madrasas Scheme, the Applications are called from the Students of Madrasas for Award of Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement (Fresh & Renewal).
** For this Scheme the students must download Application Forms from Directorate of Minorities’ website and submit the same along with the required documents as per the check list to their concerned District Officer, Minority Welfare Department.

Note:
1) Candidate who have availed any Scholarship benefit from any Government Department will not be eligible to apply.
2) Scholarship will be awarded to Madrasa students who study courses i.e., Aalim, Fazil, Hafiz, Nazira, Moulvi and other equivalent courses in Madrasas.
3) Scholarship and Fee-Reimbursement will be awarded to Madrasa students studying SSLC, PUC, Graduation/Post-Graduation in NIOS/ IGNOU & other government recognized Open Universities.
4) Madrasa Students applying Scholarship first time need to apply as FRESH.
5) Madrasa Students who have applied for 2016-17 Madrasa scholarship and Fellowship need to apply as RENEWAL

Check List :
Attested copy of following documents to be submitted along with the application form :

1. Income & Caste Certificate – Self Declaration (As format enclosed with application)
2. Study Certificate issued by Madrasa (As format enclosed with application)
3. SSLC/ PUC marks card (If completed)
4. Marks card/ Transfer Certificate (if had pursued any education)
5. Fee Receipt & Admission/ Registration Certificate (For Students pursuing correspondence courses in NIOS/ IGNOU & other Government recognized open universities)
6. Applicants Bank Account, Pass Book Xerox copy with Account Number, IFSC Code and Bank Address
7. Xerox copy of Aadhar Card.

Last Date :
Last date for submission of applications is 30.06.2017.

NOTE :
Filled in applications must be sent to District office, Minority of respective Districts, On or before the last for submission of this application. Kindly write “SCHOLARSHIP/FEE REIMBURSEMENT FOR STUDENTS OF MADARASA UNDER MODERNAZATION OF MADARSA SCHEME 2017-18” on the Envelope before sending it to the District office, Minority.

Applications submitted after the last date of submission will not be accepted and incomplete application will also be rejected.
