BIT GP Birla Scholarship:
BIT GP Birla Scholarship for MO/2016 is available on merit cum means basis for deserving Bachelor of Engineering students of BIT Patna campus.

Interested students who are not recipient of any scholarship/freeship/financial aid from other agencies may collect/ submit the form from/to Mr. Ratnesh Kumar Mishra, Jr. Superintendent in the Office of Asst. Registrar, T&P latest by 4 pm, 28th March 2017
The application should be submitted with the following documents:
1. The photocopy of GPA Card of MO/2016 semester.
2. The photocopy of Income Certificate (Issued by an Officer not below the rank of Circle Officer/ Tehsildar) of parents.
3. The applicant should also carry the original GPA Card and Income Certificate for verification at the time of submitting the application form. The detail guidelines are available on the website of BIT Patna.
Merit-cum-means scholarship for BE Students:
This scholarship amount for eligible students shall be determined based on their performance in the previous semester (in the present case, this will be MO/16 Session) as well as their parents’ annual income (from all sources).
Eligibility criteria shall be as under:
a) Parents’ annual income must not be more than Rs 3 lakhs
b) Merit as per the norms mentioned below:
GPA -Scholarship Per Semester
>9.5 100% (Tuition fee + Hostel seat rent)
>9.0 – 9.5 75% (Tuition fee + Hostel seat rent)
>8.5 – 9.0 50% Tuition fee
8.0-8.5 20% Tuition fee
First Semester BE students who have secured All India JEE Rank mentioned below may also apply for the scholarship.
Category -JEE Main Rank for BE Students:
General -Up to 4000
SC/ST- Up to 25000
Note:
The last date for applying for the “BIT G. P. Birla Scholarship- MO/2016” is 28th March 2017. The forms shall be accepted at Scholarship Section, BIT Patna till 4pm on 28th March 2017.
Note:
1. Students eligible for scholarship under any of the above categories may submit the completed application before the last date with copies of all documents, as prescribed.
2. At any point of time, a student can avail only one scholarship.
3. The decision of the Institute on all matters for grant of scholarship shall be final and binding.
4. The Institute reserves the right to amend/discontinue the modalities as well as the types of scholarship schemes at any point of time.
5. If a student is found guilty of any misconduct/indiscipline, his/her scholarship shall stand discontinued.
6. Concerned Students are required to bring their original documents for verification at the time of submitting GP Birla Scholarship Form with one set of Xerox copy.
Declaration by the Student :
I declare that the above details are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief and I am not receiving any scholarship/ freeship/ financial aid from any other source. I hereby undertake that if any discrepancy is found in this regard then the Institute may take appropriate disciplinary action.
Further, I declare that if I receive scholarship/ freeship/ financial aid from any other source after the receipt of this freeship, I shall surrender/ refund one of the scholarship/ freeship/ financial aid.
