DMT Scholarship :
As a part of Institute Social Responsibility(ISR), Nilachal Polytechnic is organizing the 2nd State Level talent hunt programme “Diploma Merit Test (DMT -2017)” on 28.05.2017(Sunday) Timing : . 10.00AM to 12.00 Noon in the Institute campus.

On the basis of marks secured in the DMT – 2017 a merit list of all the students will be drawn. A rank holder who will be taking admission in any of the Govt. / Private diploma Institution including Nilachal Polytechnic will be eligible to claim for the scholarship. The total no of scholarship to be awarded is 150 based on the merit as well as complying the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility to apply :
i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
ii) The candidate must have appeared / passed HSC / 10th standard examination held in 2016 / 2017 and must get admitted himself / herself into 1st year Diploma Engineering Course of SCTE&VT, Odisha in 2017.
How to Apply :
i) Log on to Nilachal Polytechnic website www.nilachalpolytechnic.org. and go through the application form in homepage.
ii) Fill up all the information & submit the application online.
iii) To appear DMT-2017 no application fee is required to be deposited.
Note :
The candidate will receive SMS with application number towards confirmation of submission of application.
Download of Admit Card :
The candidates can download their Admit Card from 21.05.17 to appear the examination.
Documents required to appear the Examination :
i) Copy of Down loaded Admit Card.
ii) Two-self attested passport size colour photographs.
Rule for conduct of Examination :
Details of Instructions relating to the conduct of the examination will be provided in the Admit Card.
1) The examination will be conducted for full marks of 300 carrying 100 multiple choice 10th standard questions- (Mathematics – 50 questions, Science – 50 questions).
2) The answer should be marked on OMR sheet which shall be provided in the examination hall.
3) For each correct answer 3 marks will be awarded and for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted. For unanswered questions, no mark will be awarded
Claim for Scholarship :
i) The candidate after taking admission in any other Govt. / Private Diploma Institute / Nilachal Polytechnic and having valid DMT – 2017 Rank Card can apply with following documents
a) Copy of final allotment letter
b) Original Money Receipt towards deposit of 1st year Course Fee.
c) Bonafide studentship certificate from the admitted Diploma Institute.
d) DMT – 2017 Rank Card.
e) Identity Card of the Institute and Aadhar Card.
f) Permanent Residential Certificate.
ii) The application with requisite documents should be submitted physically to Nilachal Polytechnic latest by 30.09.2017.
iii) A merit list will be drawn as per the rank secured in the DMT-2017.
In case of tie the merit list shall be decided in the order :
a) Less negative mark,
b) Marks in Mathematics in DMT-2017.
Among the students taking admission in 1st year Diploma Engineering Course under SCTE&VT, the scholarship amount will be decided as per their category of admission.
iv) Scholarship amount will be paid after verification of document.
v) In case of any dispute the decision of Principal, Nilachal Polytechnic is final & binding.
Note :
The candidates holding DMT – 2017 rank and taking admission in Nilachal Polytechnic will get only one type of financial benefit.
