JLU Scholarship:

The JLU Scholarship for excellence is now open for applications from eligible students who intend to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies at Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal starting from the 2017/18 academic year (i.e. during the period of July 2017 to June 2018).

Applications should be submitted by fully completing the ‘University Admission Application’ form either online via the University website www.jlu.edu.in or in person at the University admission office, on or before June 30th, 2017 (by 6pm). Applicants are advised to read through the “Application Process Guidelines” detailed on the University website.

Selection:
The selection of students for the JLU Scholarship for Excellence will be on the basis of the following three criteria:
** Class XII percentage (for undergraduate programme applicants) / Graduation percentage (for post graduate applicants)
** Personal Interview with the University Scholarship Screening Committee.

Applicants who have attended personal interviews conducted by the Scholarship committee / Admissions panel and will be notified of the results after the interviews. Selected students shall be awarded with an ‘Academic Scholarship’ based on the scholarship criteria, for their respective study programme.

The decision of the University Scholarships Committee on the awardees shall be final and there is no appeal mechanism for the outcomes. The disbursement of the scholarship to the awardees will be done at the commencement of the academic session, in the form of deduction of scholarship amount from the tuition fee payable at the beginning of the first semester and the second semester of the year one of the academic programme.

Continuation of Scholarship award:
Scholarship will be awarded to the each selected student for the first year of their study in the respective programme at the University. In order to continue with the scholarship in the following years of their study at the University, students will have to meet the following levels of scholastic achievement:

** The student will have to ensure that he/she secures minimum 9 CGPA in the year one of the programme.
** The student will have to maintain minimum of 80% attendance throughout the academic year.
** The student shall not have any disciplinary actions on record throughout the academic year.

Should the student qualify for the continuation of the ‘Academic Scholarship’, the scholarship amount shall be increased to be equivalent to 100% of the tuition fee payable for the subsequent academic year only. Should any student fail to fulfil any of the criteria mentioned above, the student will not be awarded scholarship in the subsequent academic year. The decision of the ‘Scholarship Committee’ on the awardees shall be final and there is no appeal mechanism for the outcomes.
