There are Opportunities extended to all Students to Earn Cash Rewards and Scholarships up to 100% through a Pan India Exam. Thus all the students who felt the need to get themselves assessed to get a Golden Opportunity and take away the Cash Prizes and amazing Scholarships.
Cash Reward & Scholarship:
With the objective of encouraging meritorious students and academic excellence, Sharda University offers Cash Rewards & Scholarship more than INR 2,00,00,000.
Instructions:
** Cash Awards will be given only to those students who take Admission with us by 31st March 2017.
** Cash Awards will be given through a Felicitation Ceremony at the University after Course Commencement.
** The scholarship will be for 1st Year of the Course. Scholarship for the subsequent years will be reviewed on the basis of previous year students performance as per university norms.
** 5% EBS (Early Bird Scholarship) over and above Scholarship obtained (except Freeship Scholarship Students) will be given to students who give Registration Fee of Rs. 10,000 /- by 31st January, 2017 to confirm a seat. Balance fee has to be paid by 31st of May, 2017
** The merit list for successful candidates will be prepared by listing them in the descending order of the total marks scored by them.
However, there may be ties and such ties will be sequentially applying the following set of rules:
A. Student having higher marks in Maths followed by Physics in Engineering.
B. Student having higher marks in Biology followed by Physics in Medical.
C. Student having higher marks in Accounting Followed by Finance in Commerce.
D. Student having higher marks in Sociology followed by Political Affairs in Arts.
Meaning of Scholarship:
** Scholarship means Fee Concession, Fee Discount, Fee Waiver. If at any point of time, the government decides to charge Service Tax on the Scholarship/ Concession Amount/ Fee Waiver, then the Service Tax shall be borne by the student/parent/guardian.
** Maximum scholarship for which a student shall be eligible is 100% on Tuition fee.
** In order to avail the Scholarship and Cash Reward , the Student must get above 70% Marks in Board Exam, failing which his Candidature for Admission in Sharda University will be cancelled.
** However in such Case his Registration amount will be Refunded if paid by him/ her before results declared by the Board.
** The scholarship is applicable on tuition fee in all courses except MBBS & BDS.
** Cash Awards* shall be paid by cheque. It will be paid after commencement of their respective course.
Note:
*Only qualified candidates are eligible for cash reward & scholarship. (Candidates who scored 40% -144 Marks or more).
