Sanction List of NOS:

In the Government Order read at (1) & (2) above, the Scheme is being implemented to grant National Overseas scholarships to the Minority Students for higher studies abroad. The above said scheme is being continued during current financial year 2076-17 vide Government Order read at (3) above.

The first and Second quarterly installments has been released vide Government Order read at (4) for the above said scheme under the Head of Account: 2225-03-277 -2-68, Head of Account: 2225-03-102-0-14 (059), Head of Account 2225-03-277 -2-82 and Head of Account: 4225-03-277 -2-10 [386] respectively

The selection committee conducted an interview/Counseling for the applied candidates on 29.08.2076 and 30.08.2016 under the Chairmanship of the Selection Committee Chairman and the Secretary to Government, Minority Welfare Department, in the presence of other Committee members and selected 270 eligible candidates to sanction scholarship from the Minority Communities candidates based on

1) The Merit (Marks) of the candidate in his/her Degrees,
2) Occupation and Annual Income of the parents of the respective candidates
3) Representation of candidates from different districts of the state (Regional Representation),
4) 0pportunity to Female candidates and
5) Opportunity to candidates who opted and chosen special subiects by the candidates.

Terms & Conditions:
The Director, Directorate of Minorities while disbursing the Scholarships shall follow the conditions as detailed below
1) The amount may be released to the students with the conditions that requisite documents is furnished by the selected candidates.
2) The requisite documents with regard to the admission of students for the course in the University Overseas may be obtained.
3) In case of the students discontinue the studies, the amount of scholarship sanctioned to be returned to the Director, Directorate of Minorities, Bangalore, through DD. An affidavit to that effect has to be obtained from the students.
4) The students who fail to get admission in the universities overseas are not entitled for the scholarship.
5) The expenditure incurred for publicity, and scholarship may be furnished to the Government within the stipulated period.
6) The maximum amount of scholarship of only Rs. 20.00 Lakh admissible for two years shall be released even though the course is for a period of three years. No amount of scholarship will be released for the third year and there-on.
7) A progress report for having achieved Physical and Financial targets for having implementing the scheme may be furnished.
8) After utilization of grants, utilisation certificate shall be furnished in accordance with rules.

In the circumstances explained above, Government is pleased to accord approval and directs the Director of Minorities, Bangalore, to draw and disburse the scholarship amount to the following 76 fresh Second list candidates of Minorities for the year 2016-1,7 who are selected by the selection committee as listed below:-
