Merit cum Means Scholarship:

Eligibility Criteria:
1. The scholarship is based on the Merit cum Means.
2. The scheme is applicable to B. Tech. Students securing admission inAcademic Year 2016-17, with effect from their third semester.
3. The basic eligibility criteria may be the Total Annual Income (from all Sources) of the student’s family should not be exceeding Rs. 6.00 Lacs.
4. Students seeking such scholarships will have to apply after their 1st Year’s results in a Prescribed Form wherein authentic information about the family income and other relevant information shall be furnished.

The merit list may be based on any one of the following as to be decided by the University:
** 1st year results
** Combination of JEE score (40%) and 1st year results (60%)

5.The scholarship will be 50% of the total Tuition Fees from the 2nd Academic Year.
6.A list of qualifying applicants shall be arranged in the ascending order of their merit. The Scholarship Committee, keeping in view relative merits, will decide award of scholarships to top SEVEN (7) meritorious students in each branch of B. Tech..

Financial Assistance :
For B.Tech. Programme Admissions

Merit cum Means Scholarship:
50% of the total Tuition Fees from the 2nd Academic year.

1. The basic eligibility criteria may be the Total Annual Income (from all Sources) of the student’s family should not be exceeding Rs. 6.00 Lacs.

2. Students seeking such scholarships will have to apply after their 1st Year’s results in a Prescribed Form wherein authentic information about the family income and other relevant information shall have to be furnished.

The merit list will be based on the result of B.Tech first year and further the continuation of the scholarship in subsequent 3rd and 4th year shall subject to minimum 6.5 CPI at the first attempt in the previous year, besides fulfillment of other norms. e.g. regular attendance, disciplined and exemplary behavior.

3. The scholarship will be 50% of the total Tuition Fees from the 2nd Academic Year.

4. A list of qualifying applicants shall be arranged in the ascending order of their merit. The Scholarship Committee, keeping in view relative merits, will decide award of scholarships to top SEVEN (7) meritorious students in each branch of B. Tech.

5. A student is liable to lose his/her scholarship from the next Semester/year if he/she fails to satisfy any of the specified criteria, in such case/s there shall not be any replacement of the student/s for the scholarship during the entire duration of the programme. A student failing to qualify for the scholarship in any semester/year during the program shall not be entitled for the award of Scholarship thereafter.

6. Scholarship will be withdrawn at any stage, if the information furnished are found to be false and/or it is found at a later date that the student was involved in untoward incident inside/outside the campus at any time during his/her stay at the University.
