SRHU offers following Scholarship schemes to prospective Candidates applying under Diploma,Undergraduate & Postgraduate programmes offered by its constituents schools Himalayan School of Engineering Technology(HSET) & Himalayan School of Management Studies(HSMS).

Scholarship Scheme:
Based on qualifying exam and recognized National/State Level Entrance Exams. Applicable to prospective candidates of all Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs at HSET and HSMS.

Note:
The above schemes are applicable to all the prospective candidates admitted in the University under Engineering & Manangement Programmes exclusively. The above relaxation is in addition to 26% rebate in tuition fees applicable to candidates admitted under the category, permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
The initial period of scholarship will be for one year (2 consecutive Semesters). Scholarships are also available for subsequent semesters based on Academic Performance. The proposed criterion for subsequent semester are as follows:

About SRHU :
In April 2012 to pursue the vision of H.H. Dr. Swami Rama, a proposal for establishing a University was put before the Government of Uttarakhand by Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust, a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860.
The ‘Himalayan University Bill, 2012’ was passed by Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly on December 11th, 2012 and HE the Governor of Uttarakhand granted his assent on Feburary 13th, 2013, the Bill thereby becoming an Act (Constituted under Notification No. 62/XXXVI (3)/2013/66(1)/2012, Dated 15 February 2013, Vidhayee & Sansdiya Karya Vibhag, Uttarakhand Shasan) Governed by The Himalayan University Act, 2012 (Uttarakhand Adhiniyam Sankhya 12 of 2013).
