Annual Scholarship Scheme:

Eligibility Criteria:

All unmarried girls within the age of 13-18 years and Enrolled in classes VIII-XII in government recognised regular or equivalent open school or equivalent vocational/technical training course.

Family Income is less than or equal to Rs. 1,20,000/- per annum

Age:
Between 13 and 18 years of age

Documents Have To Be Produced:

Copy of Birth Certificate issued by Municipal or Panchayat authorities and attested by the Appropriate Certifying Authorities
OR
Certificate of age issued by the Head of Institution of Education or Training where the girl is enrolled

Marital Status :
Unmarried

Documents Have To Be Produced:
Declaration by applicant’s parent / guardian and attested by the Appropriate Certifying Authorities

Education:
Enrolled in classes VIII-XII in government recognised regular or equivalent open school or equivalent vocational/technical training course

Documents Have To Be Produced:
Certificate of enrolment and attendance by Head of Institution of Education or Training

Family income conditionality to be waived if one or more of the following is true:
a) girl is physically handicapped
b) both parents are deceased
c) The applicant’s daughter / ward is already a recipient of the scholarship, and is applying for a renewal of the benefit.

Documents Have To Be Produced:

For Self-employed parents / guardians:
A declaration by the parents / guardian stating definite income from all sources, attested by the Appropriate Certifying Authorities

For Employed parents/guardians:
copy of Income certificate furnished by employer, attested by the Appropriate Certifying Authorities

For waiver in case the girl is physically handicapped:
Copy of Certificate of Disability furnished by appropriate authority and attested by the Appropriate Certifying Authorities

For waiver in case both parents of the girl are deceased:
Declaration by guardian and attested by the Appropriate Certifying Authorities

For waiver in case of renewal:
Declaration by parent / guardian and attested by the Appropriate Certifying Authorities

Application Procedure :

Form K1 is the application form for Annual Scholarship and will be available at schools.

One Time Grant:
A scholarship of Rs. 25,000/- is provided one-time to girl child fulfilling the below criteria

Eligibility Criteria :

All unmarried girls who have turned 18 on or after 1st April 2013, are enrolled in and regularly attending an institution of education or vocational/technical or sports training or are inmates of J. J. Home

Age:
The girl has reached the age of 18

Documents Have To Be Produced:
Copy of Birth Certificate issued by Municipal or Panchayat authorities and attested by the Appropriate Certifying Authorities
OR
Certificate of age issued by the Head of Institution of Education or Training or Institution of Higher Education where the girl is enrolled

Marital Status :
The girl was unmarried on attaining the age of 18

Documents Have To Be Produced:
Declaration by applicant and attested by the Appropriate Certifying Authorities

Occupation :
Is enrolled in and regularly attending an Institution of Education or Training/Sports or a Institution of Higher Education
Or
is an inmate in a J. J. Home

Documents Have To Be Produced:

Certificate of enrolment and attendance by Head of Institution

Family Income :
Is less than or equal to Rs. 1,20,000/- per annum
