The Last Date for Excellence scholarship for 2016-17 application is October 4th 2016. The Scholarship is only valid for final year BE / BTech engineering students.

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation is offering engineering scholarships to BE/BTech students applicable only to the Mumbai colleges included in the scholarship programme for the academic year 2016-17:
Eligibility Criteria :
You should be a Fourth Year engineering student studying in one of the 13 colleges that are part of the scholarship programme.
Excellence Award & Certificates of Merit:
One Excellence Award of Rs 1,00,000/- and two Certificates of Merit of Rs. 50,000/- each are offered to outstanding students from the fourth year engineering students of those engineering colleges included in the scholarship programme
Criteria for Merit:
The criteria for deciding merit include the marks obtained at examinations and the candidate’s overall performance in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities during the entire course
Documents to be attached :
** Scan of attested copies / originals of all mark sheets and certificates in support of your educational qualifications
** Scan of attested copies / originals of MHT-CET/AIEEE/IIT-JEE Score cards
** Scan of attested copies / originals of Award letters of scholarships/ awards/ prizes received
** Scan of attested copies / originals of Certificate of participation at seminars/workshops/conferences
** Scan of attested copies / originals Bonafide certificate from college
** Scan of attested copies / original college identity card
Procedure For Application:
** Incomplete applications and late submissions will not be considered.
** Students who have applied for other scholarships are also eligible to apply.
** Shortlisted applicants will be required to come for a personal interview.
PG Scholarship :
Overview of the Foundation’s PG Scholarship :
The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation, under its postgraduate scholarship Programme, offers Indian students with consistently high academic record an interest-free loan scholarship for post-graduation.

Who Will Be Awarded This Postgraduate Scholarship?
The Foundation award its postgraduate scholarship to students who are wish to pursue their studies in the fields of Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Law, Architecture and Management at prestigious Indian and international universities.

What Is The Selection Procedure for the Foundation’s PG Scholarship?
All applications will be screened for shortlisting. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed between the months of April-May. It is mandatory for all the shortlisted candidates to attend a personal interview in Mumbai in the month of June. The interview is the basis for final selection.

What Are The Post-Selection Formalities?
The Foundation announces the final list of scholars towards the end of June or first week of July.
Post-selection Documentation Needed :
It is mandatory for all the scholars to submit attested copies of the following documents within the timeline as decided by the Foundation:
The letter confirming admission to the college/ university for the proposed course of study.
I-20 in case of students admitted to the universities in the United States and a copy of the letter highlighting the financial support in case of students admitted to universities in other countries.
Orientation Programme :
