Merit Scholarships :
To encourage the scheduled tribe students to get themselves in merit list by providing them financial assistance.

Format of the Scheme:
Under this scheme, the provisions have been made to benefited to total of 1006 scheduled tribe students by setting district wise targets for all districts except Datia and Bhind districts.
Rates of Scholarships :
It is provisioned to give the scholarships at the rate of Rs. 40 per month up to the Middle school level and Rs. 50 per month up to the High school level for ten months.
Eligibility :
1. Students coming in merit up to the fixed limit.
2. There is no bar of Income limit.

Achievements :
780 students were benefited in the year 2010-2011. The target has been set to benefit to 850 students in the year 2012-2013
