Post-Matric Scholarships :
Post Matric scholarship is give0n for the study of all the Post-Matric courses which are taught in all Government and recognized educational institutes.

Provisions applicable for Post-Matric Scholarships:
Under the new Rules and regulations enforced by the Government of India the Post-Matric scholarships are given only up to the extent of income of Rs. 2.00 Lac, while the provisions for giving Post-Matric scholarship by the State Government up to the income limit of Rs. 2.00 Lac to Rs. 3.00 Lac.
The rates of scholarships set by the Government of India :
The rates of Post-Matric scholarships set by the government of India w.e.f from 01/07/2010 are as given below – Rates in Rupees per month (for 10 months).

Note:-
To Engineering and Medical students who are living in hostels the State Government will provide Rs. 750/- from its own sources. Thus they will get the amount of Rs. 1500/- instead of Rs. 750/-.
Income Limit(Annual) :
(A) Under the scheme of Government of India :
2,00,000/- Complete maintenance allowance and full fees for all courses according to the list of Government of India
(B) Under State Government scheme :
(1) Up to the Income limit of Rs. 1,00,000/- Full Fees Only
(2) Up to the Income limit from Rs. 2,00,000/- Half Fees Only
Other Allowances:
Under the scholarship scheme of Central Government the allowance is given for study tours, dissertation typing / printing, and as the grant for books for correspondence courses at following rates.:-
