SATHYABAMA UNIVERSITY REMIBAI JEPPIAAR SCHOLARSHIP AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE (FOR 4 YEAR B.E / B.Tech STUDENTS ADMITTED IN 2013-2014 ACADEMIC YEAR AND AFTER)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS TO AVAIL SCHOLARSHIP :
** Top 3 Rankers (based on University Exam Results) of Each Branch ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE.
** Minimum of 75 % is mandatory to avail scholarship.
** Ranks will be decided on the basis of 75% (AND NOT ON SEMESTERWISE MARKS) and in case of equal %, THE NEXT Rank will not be Given
** Those availing scholarship should not have had any arrears during the course of study.
** If the top 3 Rankers have % greater than 65 and Lesser than 75, then such Rankers are eligible to avail scholarship only on Waiver of Examination Fees for the subsequent year (and not on the Tuition Fees)
(A) SCHOLARSHIP ON FEES TO BE PAID FOR THE SECOND YEAR OF THE COURSE :
** 10% TUITION FEES WAIVER(FOR ALL 3 RANKERS) & FULL WAIVER of EXAMINATION FEE
** Top 3 Rankers (based on University Exam Results) of Each Branch IN FIRST SEMESTER ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE.
** Minimum of 75%(Calculated for Semester 1) is mandatory to avail scholarship.
** Ranks will be decided on the basis of 75% (AND NOT ON SEMESTERWISE MARKS) and in case of equal %, THE NEXT Rank will not be Given
(B) SCHOLARSHIP ON FEES TO BE PAID FOR THE THIRD YEAR OF THE COURSE:
** TUITION FEES WAIVER (20%FOR THE TOP RANKER & 10% FOR THE 2ND AND 3RD RANKER) & FULL WAIVER OF
EXAMINATION FEE :
** Top 3 Rankers (based on University Exam Results) of Each Branch (Calculated from Semester 1 to 3) ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE.
** Minimum of 75 %( Calculated from Semester 1 to 3) is mandatory to avail scholarship.
** Ranks will be decided on the basis of 75% (AND NOT ON SEMESTERWISE MARKS) and in case of equal %, THE NEXT Rank will not be Given
(C)SCHOLARSHIP ON FEES TO BE PAID FOR THE FOURTH (FINAL) YEAR OF THE COURSE
** TUITION FEES WAIVER (30%FOR THE TOP RANKER, 20% FOR THE 2ND RANKER, 10% FOR THE 3RD RANKER) & FULL WAIVER OF EXAMINATION FEE AND PROJECT FEES
** Top 3 Rankers based on University Exam Results of each Branch (Calculated from Semester 1 to 5) ARE ONLY
ELIGIBLE :
** Minimum of 75 %( Calculated from Semester 1 to 5) is mandatory to avail scholarship.
** Ranks will be decided on the basis of 75% (AND NOT ON SEMESTERWISE MARKS) and in case of equal %, THE NEXT Rank will not be Given
(D) RECOGNITION OF TOP RANKERS FOR THE FULL 4 YEAR COURSE
** Top Ranker (based on University Exam Results Calculated from Semester 1 to 8) of Each Branch Awarded with a GOLD MEDAL in the Convocation.
** Other 2 Rankers of Each Branch will be Awarded RANK CERTIFICATES in the Convocation.
** Minimum of 75 % (Overall %) is mandatory to avail scholarship.
** Ranks will be decided on the basis of 75% (AND NOT ON SEMESTERWISE MARKS) and in case of equal %, THE NEXT Rank will not be Given
