Inviting applications for the “Award of Post Matric Scholarship to the students belonging to “Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes” during the year 2016-17

It is intimated that the Post Matric Scholarships are awarded by the Govt. of India to the Scheduled Castes/Other Backward Classes Students for Studies in India and applications are invited for the students who belongs to SC/OBC category and are permanent resident of U.T., Chandigarh.

Scholarship Rates:
The Scheme/Prescribed proforma is available on the website of this department i.e. www.chdeducation.gov.in You are requested to ensure that all candidates of your institutions, whose parental income does not exceeds Rs.2.50,000/- Per Annum for SC and Rs. 1.00,000/- for OBC are covered under the Scheme.

Application Procedure:
** All eligible candidates may apply for the above scholarship before 15.9.2016 and the scholarship forms complete in all respects may be sent to this office by 30.09.2016. Further, it is also requested that the forms along with relevant documents shall be submitted to this office with the enclosed proforma in CD with Microsoft-excel format.

** It may also be ensured that the student is not availing any other scholarship and his/her Aadhaar no. is seeded with his/her bank account no. Aadhaar card and bank account with complete address and IFSC code of the account in the name of applicant is mandatory.
