Application for Pre, Post Matric Scholarship to Scheduled Tribes & Other Backward Classess Students

Applicable for ST Student Studying in Class I to Class VIII and for OBC Student Studying in Class I to Class X
N.B :
This Application should be submitted to the
(a) Project Director, I.T.D.P. for ST students
(b) SDWO for OBC students where the Institution located (with in the state of Assam) through the Head of the Institution.
(c) The Director of W.P.T. & B.C. for the students studying out side the state.
Caste Certificate issued by President, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes Development Council must be countersigned by D.C. or S.D.O. only. But no countersignature is necessary in respect of Caste ertificate issued by M.L.A./M.P.
Caste & Citizenship Certificate
(i) This certificate is to be signed by the DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF THE DISTRICT OR SUB DIVISIONAL OFFICER (CIVIL) OF THE SUB-DIVISION (Where the parents/Guardian of the candidate is permanently residing) or Commissioner for Schedule Caste/Tribes.
(ii) This is a very important document as the scholarship is awarded mainly on the basis of this certificate. The issuing authority is therefore, advised to issue this certificate with due caution
(iii) The particulars must be filled in by the issuing authority in his own handwriting
Various Scholarship Scheme
Junior College Scholarship :
Under this scheme students studying in class XI and XII in Jr. College are provided scholarship @ Rs. 300/- per month securing 55% to 59% and @ Rs. 350/- per month securing 60% and above.
Physically Disability Scholarship :
Under this scheme students having Physically Disability are given scholarship @ Rs. 300/- per month studying in class IX-X and @ Rs. 350/- per month studying in class XI-XII.
Scholarship to the Domicile Students :
Scholarship is provided to all the Domicile cadets of Assam studying in Sainik School Goalpara, Assam, @ Rs. 30,000/- per student per annum.
Scholarship to the students of Assam studying in Rashtriya Indian Military College :
Scholarship is awarded to all the cadets of Assam studying in Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun @ Rs. 30,000/- per annum
Scholarship to Girls’ Students :
Under this scheme SC/ST Girls’ students are given @ Rs. 300/- per month for students studying in class IX-X and @ Rs. 350/- per month Class XI-XII.

Why didn’t you give scholarship 2016?
Why do we have not got the 3rd renewed scholarship 2013-2014? We applied for this scholarship during 3 years LL.B course. Me and my friends got only two times this Scholarship in two years. But the scholarship program was for fully three years. My seniors got the full scholarship in three years 3 times. Please release our fund.
