Applications are invited for the above programme in the prescribed form from the students belonging to minority communities who are pursuing Higher Secondary or Under Graduate/ Post Graduate or equivalent courses under recognized Boards/Universities of West Bengal and other states.

This stipend is awarded to the students who are resident of West Bengal and have passed their last final examination and obtained below 50% marks and must have secured pass marks in his/her last examination.
He/she should have continuing their studies Scholarship is given to students for pursuing studies from class XI and onwards up to Ph.D. Annual Family Income up to Rs.2 Lakh.
** XI-XII total Rs. 2550.
** Graduation total Rs 4800.
** Post Graduation total Rs. 4900.
About Us :
WBMDFC was established in 1996 as per West Bengal Act XVIII of 1995, ie The West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation Act, 1995. The functions of the Corporation are to take generally the task of economic welfare of the minorities through Industrial, Commercial and Cultural activities.
The minority communities are Muslims, Sikh,Christian, Buddhist and parsee as per notification of Govt. of India. The Govt. of West Bengal has also notified Jain Community as a Minority Community but as this community is not on the Central government List, it can avail benefits of only those schemes which are undertaken out of the fund granted by the State Government.
