Merit-Cum-Mean based Scholarship :

Applications are invited from students who are permanent residents in the state of Meghalaya studying within and outside the State for the year 2016-17.

Merit-Cum-Mean based Scholarship is a Central Sector Scheme. Under this scheme are awarded to the meritorious Students from notified minority communities viz. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhist, Zoroastrians(Parsis) and Jains, pursuing Technical & Professional Courses at Under Graduate/Post Graduate level in an institution recognized by an appropriate authority who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination are eligible for Merit Cum Mean based Scholarship for the year 2016-17 to be awarded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India.

Applications for Merit Cum Means Based Scholarship are to be submitted on-line through this URL scholarships.gov.in Print out of duly filled-in application forms are also to be submitted to their respective institution, alongwith all supporting documents.

Only Online application under Merit-Cum-Mean based Scholarship Scheme will be accepted and no request for an Offline application will be entertained. It may be noted that submission of Aadhaar is Mandatory.

Last date for submission of Online application for Fresh and Renewal scholarship by students is 31st October 2016.
