Need-Cum-Merit Based Educational Scholarships 2015-16 :

** Non Refundable Scholarship – for pursuing Graduation and Post Graduation in technical subjects like Engineering, Infotech, Medical, MBA etc. in India.

Last date for receipt of Completed Forms by the Trust : 30.7.2015

** Existing recipients of scholarship will have to apply again for continuance.
** Scholarship amount ranges from Rs. 250/- to Rs. 1,000/- per month.

Last date for obtaining Application Forms : 20.7.2015

Application Forms will be available free of charge or can be had by post by sending a 9″x4″ self addressed stamped (Rs. 10/-) envelope to the Secretary, Sahu Jain Trust, 18, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110 003

Rules And Conditions :

(GOVERNING THE AWARD OF LOAN-SCHOLARSHIP FOR HIGHER STUDIES ABROAD)
It is essential that the candidate should fill in CORRECTLY all the information desired. The student must immediately inform the trust, if he expects or gets any honorarium, and/or allowance from the government, the Institution in which he is studying .he Jirm where he is employed, and/or the firm where he is taking his training and/or any other sources.

The candidate has to give a solemn undertaking by signing a BOND indicating therein his plan of repayment mentioning year of start, yearly instalments and the number of years within which repayment will be completed.

The intention of the trust in introducing this clause is to develop a high sense of moral responsibility in the society of tomorrow. The student should feel proud and happy in extending this co-operation in view of the fact that the Trust shall utilise all money thus received to help more and more students under this scheme.

If the student discontinues his studies during the course for which he is getting scholarship, he must immediately inform the trust of the same and should refund the entire amount so received. It is expected that the students must maintain a high standard of morality and character.

The sanctioned amount of scholarship will be remitted and paid when the student furnishes :
(a) A certificate of admission from the head of the institution at which he is to pursue his studies.
(b) A photostat copy of the air-ticket.
(c) The bond form duly signed.
Deviation from this may be considered by the Trust on reasonable grounds.

All migrations and changes in the student’s subjects, residence and address should be intimated to the of- ce of the trust immediately for ready reference. The Student has to bind himself to keep the office of the Trust informed of the where-abouts, position, status and earnings etc.

Application :

It should reach the office of the Trust latest by 31 May, every year, and the committee of the Trust finalises the allotment of scholarship by the 1st week of August. The failure of a student to comply with any of the conditions will disqualify him from receiving any further or part of the scholarship so awarded
