HEWS Scholarship:

Welfare Department of Higher Education Welfare Society is going to organize free Counselling and Admission under scholarship scheme for the benefit and welfare of the students.

70% scholarship in college Fee will be given to the students at the time of admission so that students will not have financial problem to pursue technical or professional courses.

70% scholarship/discount will be given in the whole course fee by the college Trust and HEWS. This facility is given to all categories, SC/ST/OBC/General/Minority. 30% fee of the college will be paid by the students and this amount will also be refunded as Post Matric scholarship (for SC/ST/OBC/Minority) gets sanctioned which is provided by the state welfare department-Govt. of India.

It has come to knowledge that most of the colleges take students admission on scholarship but later they ask for the whole Fees from the students. By this way students face a lot of financial problem. So HEWS has started 70% Scholarship scheme on the spot at the time of admission to avoid such issues. College will give you in written about this offer that they will not charge college fee more than mentioned below.

Rules:
** 70% of the fee will be discounted as scholarship by the college Trust and HEWS for the whole course at the time of admission without any condition.
** Students do not need to wait for the approval of scholarship. You get this benefit on the spot from college side and you will get this benefit for every year for the whole course duration.
** Students will pay only 30% of the college fee per year as mentioned below. And this amount will also be refunded in your account as Post Matric scholarship under state Government scheme gets sanctioned.
** Post Matric scholarship is given to SC, ST, OBC and Minority by the state government.
** This scheme has nothing to do with Post Matric Scholarship scheme given by Government of India through Samaj Kalyan Vibhag.
** Post Matric Scholarship gets sanctioned by State welfare department for the Technical or Professional courses. Amount of scholarship will come in your account directly. College has no right to take it from you.
** Students get the benefit of rupees 1 to 3 lakhs depending upon the course and its duration.
** HEWS does not take any kind extra charge from the candidates like service charge, counselling fee or registration fee. This is absolutely for the welfare of the students.
** To avail the benefit of this scheme, you must attend the counselling programme organized by HEWS. It is absolutely free.
** HEWS will send you a counselling letter to your address by the end of May 2016 or you can download your letter from website on or after 20th May 2016.
** Address of Counselling centre and counselling date will be mentioned in the same letter.
** At the time of counselling, students will be informed in detail about the scheme, colleges, courses and other facilities.
** All participating colleges are the leading institutions of India, approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), UGC, MHRD- Govt. of India and state technical university/Board.
** After counselling students can select any of the college from the college’s list of HEWS and choose one course for them.
** Students can get the allotment of the seat after knowing the detail of the scheme. Allotment letter will be given to you by HEWS office at the same time or can be downloaded through website.
** HEWS will provide you an Allotment Letter and you can go to the college individually or with your parents’ along with the allotment letter of HEWS to avail the scholarship benefit. For any inconvenience, please call us.

1. Students can choose any of the above courses and take admission under Scholarship Scheme for the session 2016-17 at HEWS office.
2. HEWS have selected more than 200 colleges on the basis of infra-structure, laboratory, approval, campus, safety & security, industrial exposure & placements. Students can choose any of the college from the list provided by HEWS at the time of counselling session.
