CU’s Science Talent Scholarship:
** Concepts Unlimited (CU), works towards providing conceptual clarity in the subject of science for the school students, by empowering them not only to achieve excellent marks in their school as well as competitive examinations but also to have a clear understanding of the scientific concepts. So our aim is to help students to face the competitive world with ease.

** To achieve our aim, we have designed two online examinations and a special curriculum for Grade 5 to Grade 8 students. These online examinations would provide them a flavour of online examinations that they have to appear in future as well as while preparing for these examinations they will get thorough conceptual clarity of the subject.
** The pattern of examination and required study material is designed in such way that the student, who is ‘not so good’ in science will become ‘good’ science and the student, who is ‘good’ in science will become ‘genius’ in science. Secondly, the care has been taken that the student will not have any additional burden of the examination. On the other hand student will enjoy the studies, as it will be full of pictures, videos, stories and extra information.
** To encourage our young scientists, we give them a ‘Science Talent Scholarship’, for those who excel in these examinations. We have been conducting these examinations for past three years and our students are benefited to the great extent and the student residing in almost remote places of Maharashtra has appeared for the course successfully.
** Once the student enrols for the examination, he/she will get the username and password. This will facilitate he/she to appear for the examination as well as to visit our website to see videos as well as other relevant study material. Secondly, many practice tests/ quiz will be available on the website to make student familiar with the online examination system.
** To provide further support to the student, we can provide a CD containing complete study material. If a student doesn’t wish to appear for the ‘Science Talent Examination’, but just want to have a study material, he/she can get the CD of the study material.
** CU’s Science Talent Scholarship will be given based on the performance in both examinations and telephonic interview after completing the course. The details of the evaluations system will be given on enrolment.
Syllabus for the examination:
We have developed our own ‘global curriculum’ after studying 17 educational boards across the globe which includes SSC, CBSE, ICSC and many other national and international curricula.

We gathered details of all the above mentioned syllabi and mapped then horizontally and vertically. Then we selected some of the difficult to understand as well as important topics for every grade. Secondly we also decided the topic for every year by studying thoroughly, what exactly the student is supposed to know at that age and grade. The list of concepts that we have designed for each grade is also attached herewith.
Medium of Study material and Online examination:
Medium of instruction for this course will be English only. However, Marathi meanings of difficult to understand English words will be provided in the CD. Secondly, wherever possible and required, Marathi narrations to explain certain concepts will also be provided in the CD.
Important Dates :
Duration of the program: 15th June 2015 to 15th February 2016
Admissions: Will begin from 1st April 2015.
Online examinations:
First examination: in the last week of September 2015
Second examination: in the second week of February 2016
Telephonic interviews and declaration of scholarship: 3rd week of Feb 2016
Fees:
For Individual Students:
Grade 5: Rs.1000 (CD: Rs.500 + online material and online exam fee: Rs.500)
Grade 6: Rs.1200 (CD: Rs.600 + online material and online exam fee: Rs.600)
Grade 7: Rs.1400 (CD: Rs.700 + online material and online exam fee: Rs.700)
Grade 8: Rs.1600 (CD: Rs.800 + online material and online exam fee: Rs.800)
For Schools :
One CD for each grade will be given at the respective cost and students have to pay examination fee of only Rs.300/- per student. In this case online study material will not be made available to the students. If there are 50 or more number of students from any one grade of the school, each student has to pay Rs. 250/- only. If total number of students is 50 or more than 50, then 10% of the total fees will be reimbursed back to the school.
