Shri Pran Gopal Saha memorial scholarship :
An annual scholarship in honour of Late Pran Gopal Saha to be given by his son Dr. Salil Saha for the most promising medico of the year.
Shri Pran Gopal Saha born on 7th March 1927 at Noakhali, Bangledesh and died on 14th Nov.2009 at Chandigarh. He was a freedom fighter and worked hard to provide every facility to his children to help children to achieve appreciable academic career.
The value of the scholarship :
Rs. 5000 as of 2010.
The recipient would be a student who is the most promising medico on the making but from a background of rural school or poor family.
The scholarship introduced will be given later part of the year as we can decide on a scholarship only after the admission process to MBBS is over.
