What is WBMDFC Aikyashree Scholarship?
AIKYASHREE West Bengal State Scholarship Scheme For Minority Students 2024-25 is sponsored by West Bengal Minorities’ Development & Finance Corporation. Student must be a domicile of West Bengal. Students who are applying for the first time will have to submit application as FRESH candidate. The applicant is required to take a printout of the application and submit the same to respective institution with a copy of the Bank Pass Book. Last Date of Scholarship is 30th September 2024.
Pre-Matric Scholarship
DESCRIPTION:
Scholarship is awarded to Minority students for pursuing studies from class I to X.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1) Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
2) Annual family income upto Rs. 2 Lakh.
3) Minimum marks required is 50% in the last examination (exempted for class-I).
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:
Online application is received usually from August to October every year. The applicant is required to take a printout of the application and submit the same to respective institution with a copy of the Bank Pass Book.
Post-Matric Scholarship
DESCRIPTION:
Scholarship is awarded to students for pursuing studies from class XI to Ph.D.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1) Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
2) Annual Family Income upto Rs. 2.0 lakh.
3) Minimum marks required is 50% in the last examination.

Merit-Cum- Means Scholarship
DESCRIPTION:
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship is awarded to the minority students for pursuing professional /technical courses at graduation and post-graduation levels in institutes located in WB and affiliated to any board/university under Govt. of West Bengal.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1) Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
2) The students must have got admission in a technical/ professional course.
3) Must have secured at least 50% marks in the last Higher Secondary/Graduation Examination.
4) Annual Family Income upto Rs.2.5 Lakh.
5) Students residing in West Bengal but pursuing studies in the institutes outside West Bengal are not eligible (Except listed institutes).
Receiving of online application will be co-terminus with that of West Bengal Higher Education department WBHED every year. The applicant is required to take a printout of the application and submit the same to respective institution with a copy of the Bank Pass Book.
Under Talent Support Program
DESCRIPTION:
This stipend is awarded to Minority students who have passed their last final examination with less than 50% marks and are continuing studies in class XI onwards up to Ph.D. (except professional and technical courses).
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1) Annual Family Income upto Rs. 2.0 lakh.
2) Students passing the last examination with less than 50% marks.

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme For Minorities
DESCRIPTION:
Scholarship is given to meritorious minority students for pursuing studies from class XI to Post-graduation level in regular courses including Diploma (Polytechnic), Diploma in Pharmacy, B.Ed, DLED, etc.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1) Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal and has been continuing education in the recognized institutes situated in West Bengal.
2) Student should have passed out in the current year from recognized institutions affiliated/accredited to the WBBSE/WBCHSE/WBBME/CBSE/ISC or university situated in the state of West Bengal.
3) Annual Family Income must be within Rs.2.5 lakhs (Certificate to be issued by any State/Central Government Officer).
4) Minimum marks required in the last Examination-60% for Higher Secondary to Graduation level, 53% for Post-graduation level & Honours subject at Graduation level and 55% for Graduation Level in case of engineering students.
Receiving of online application will be co-terminus with that of West Bengal Higher Education department (WBHED) every year. SCHOLARSHIP BENEFIT Upto Rs. 60,000/-
How to Apply for Aikyashree Scholarship?
To Apply for Aikyashree Scholarship 2024-25 follow the bellow steps,
Steps :
Step-i: Go to the Official website https://wbmdfcscholarship.in/
Step-ii: Click on the option called Student’s Area and a new page will open on your screen.
Step-iii: Click on the Fresh Registration option
Step-iv: Now you have to select your district
Step-v: The application form will open..
Step-vi: Enter your basic information.
Step-vii: Verify all of the details.
Step-viii: Click on the submit button.
Step-ix: Now fill in the eligibility details.
Step-x: Click on the button called Submit And Proceed
Step-xi: A user ID will be generated.
Step-xii: You have to keep the user ID and password safe.
Step-xiii: Now you have to log in using your information.
Step-xiv: Enter all of the other information.
Step-xv: Verify all of the details.
Step-xvi: Click on the Final Submit button.
Step-xvii: You have to take a printout of the application form.
Step-xviii: Submit the application form to the concerned institution.
Instructions :

** Student must be a domicile of West Bengal.
** Institute must be located in West Bengal.
** Students having AADHAAR linked bank account will get preference in directly crediting scholarship amount.
** One registration will be allowed with one ACTIVE BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER.
** Bank Account details (A/c Number, IFSC Code) submitted is correct and keep the account active (i.e. non-dormant) and functional to receive scholarship amount (i.e. Any condition imposed on accounts by bank, any limit on receiving credit in accounts etc., which may hamper scholarship credit in account should be complied with).
** Student should have obtained at least 50% marks in the LAST FINAL Examination for all scholarship except Talent Support stipend (less than 50% marks is required).
** Applicants in receipt of scholarship benefit last year and having an Application ID must apply under renewal category only.
** One registration will be allowed with one mobile number.
** Distance Education applicants are not eligible to apply.
** A student is eligible for scholarship from any one government source only.
** Unique ID of Bangla Shikhsha ID is Mandatory for school level students.
