What is Department of Education NEET Gap Year Scholarship?
NEET Gap Year Scholarship 2024 is sponsored by Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration. The Scholarship is open to student who completed class XII before 2024. The benefits of Scholarships is students preparing for next year’s NEET. Recipients of the scholarship must undergo coaching from any NEET coaching centers in India. Last Date of Scholarship is 5th July 2024.
Eligibility of NEET Gap Year Scholarship
** Class XII mark sheet – minimum of 60% in PCB and 60% calculated as per DoE Scholarship Rules.
** In order to be eligible for the 25% allocation of Tibetan marks as per the calculation of the DoE Scholarship rules, students must attain a minimum score of 33 marks in Class XII Tibetan language. Tibetan Language Proficiency Test (TLPT) will be conducted by the Department of Education for students who haven’t studied Tibetan language in class XII.
** Top 20 students will be selected as per the DoE calculations. However, preferences will be given to the fresh class XII graduates.
** This scholarship is not applicable for online coaching classes.
** If any recipients discontinues the program without any valid reason, he/she is liable to refund the Scholarship amount to the Department of Education, CTA.
Amount of NEET Gap Year Scholarship
Scholarship award – INR 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only)
Documents Required for NEET Gap Year Scholarship
Documents required for upload (All documents must be in PDF or image format)
1. “Form A ” – duly verified and signed by the concerned Tibetan Settlement Officer.
2. Class XII mark sheet.
3. Best Boy/Best Girl Certificate (if applicable)
4. School Captain Certificate (if applicable)
5. Passport size photo
6. An application stating the reason for taking a gap year. (only applicable to student who completed class XII before 2024)
Important Guidelines of NEET Gap Year Scholarship
1. Each student is permitted to submit only one application online.
2. Ensure that the email address and mobile number entered in the online application form belong to the applicant, their parents, or guardians. All future communications and follow-ups would be conducted through the email and phone numbers entered in the application form.
3. Upon submission of the form, an automated response will be sent to the registered email address. Applicants can make edits to their applications through the email received in the registered inbox. Only applicants with incomplete documents would be notified.

What is the Last Date of NEET Gap Year Scholarship?
Last Date of NEET Gap Year Scholarship 2024 is 5th July 2024. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
