DCE SMS Scholarship
Kerala Directorate of Collegiate Education invites online application for State Merit Scholarship Renewal for the year 2021-22.
Who Can Apply?
** Students must be a citizen of India and domicile of Kerala
** Should be a first year student of Under Graduate or Post Graduate course in Govt/ Aided colleges or University Departments.
** Should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.
** Family annual income should not exceed 1 Lakh. For Exemption of annual income based on merit, please see the notification.

** Starting Date for Renewal Applications is 10-09-2021
** Ending Date for Renewal Applications is 15-10-2021
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the State Merit Scholarship Renewal 2021-22.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Kerala Directorate of Collegiate Education through the URL provided above
Step 2 : Then Click on the State Merit Scholarship under Types of Scholarship.

Step 3 : For Renewal cases, Click on the Renewal link in the home page and enter the following details to complete your renewal process.
** Select Your Scholarship Type
** Select Your State
** Select Your District
** Select Your Institution Type
** Select Your Scholarship awarded institution name
** Select Your Scholarship awarded year
** Select the Name of the student
** Enter Your Date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy)
** Enter Your Registration ID
Rate & Number of Scholarships
** Graduation Rs. 1250/- per annum (300 Nos)
** Post Graduation Rs. 1,500/- per annum (150 Nos.)

FAQs
1. Can I edit the information already saved and up to what time?
Allows the candidate to edit his/ her personal details related to Online Registration. This feature has restrictions if the application is verified by the Institution.
2. What happens, if I detect mistakes after forwarding the applications to the institutes?
You should intimate the institution regarding the mistakes. The institution can revert the verification status, which allows you to edit the details. Correct the details, take the print out and resubmit the print out to the institution for online verification.
3. What should I do, if I do not find my institute name in the drop- down menu?
You should immediately approach the institute to contact Scholarship Office .
4. What is to be done after submitting the online application ?
After submitting the application online, you should take a print out of the application, sign and submit it with requisite/supporting documents to your institution.
5. How to check the status of my application?
By logging-in with your registration Id ,date of birth and password you can check the status of your application anytime. In the home page, ‘Registered students list’ link also provides the status of your application.
