TN Post-Matric & Pre-Matric Scholarship

2020-2021 scholarship Application is enabled for Post-matric(+1 & +2) and Pre-Matric (9th & 10th)

Eligibility

** Students belongs to SC-ST, Convertered Christian Adi-Dravidar students.
** Candidates should have secured minimum 75% of attendance in the previous year of study.
** Parent / Guardian Annual Income limit Rs. 2.00 lakh for Pre-Matric Scholarship

Step 2 : Then login with your Username and Password.

Step 3 : Fill the required details to complete the application form.
Step 4 : After complete your registration you will get a confirmation message.

Scholarship Amount

Pre-Matric Scholarship :
Day Scholars :
Maintenance allowance (Per month Rs.150×10 months) = 1500
Adhoc Grant = 750
Total = 2250

Hostellers :
Maintenance allowance (Per month Rs.350×10 months) = 3500
Adhoc Grant = 1000
Total = 4500

Awards Scheme

Chief Minister’s Merit Award :
1000 boys and 1000 girls belonging to Adi Dravidar, Tribal and Adi Dravidar converted to Christianity communities in the order of their marks in +2 Public examination are given an award of Rs.3,000/- each per annum for a period of 5 years, if they continue their education.

Gandhi Memorial Award :
One boy and one girl belonging to Hindu Adi Dravidar community who secure first rank in each district in +2 Public Examinations. An award of Rs.2,000/- is given in the first year and Rs.1,500/- per annum for the succeeding five years.

Note :
** Hindu Adi Dravidar Students only
** First mark in +2 and continue education

Prize Money Award :
Special prize is awarded to 1000 students who secure 60% marks and above in degree, post-graduate and professional course examinations.

Merit-cum-Means Award :
One boy and one girl student belonging to the Scheduled Tribe and the Adi Dravidar converted to Christianity in each district who secure first rank in +2 Public Examinations. An award of Rs.2,000/- in the first year and @ Rs.1,500/- per annum for the succeeding five years

Awards to Bright Students :
Two Boys and two Girls from each category i.e. Adi Dravidar / Tribe / Adi Dravidar converted to Christianity who secure the highest marks in X Standard examination in each District are awarded.

From the academic year 2013-14 onwards a sum of Rs.1600/- each in the first year and Rs.2000/- per annum subsequently for five years will be provided if they continue their higher studies. Renewal Students also eligible to receive the enhanced award amount.

Dr. Ambedkar National Merit Scholarship :
First 3 students securing highest mark at State Level in 10th std.
** 1st Mark – Rs.60,000
** 2nd Mark – Rs.50,000
** 3rd Mark – Rs.40,000

First 3 students at State level in 12th Standard Science, Arts and Commerce.
** 1st Mark – Rs.60,000/-
** 2nd Mark – Rs.50,000/-
** 3rd Mark – Rs.40,000/-

** Last date for submission of fresh and renewal application is 07.04.2021
** Last date for District level process of fresh and renewal application is 09.04.2021 and 15.04.2021 for H.O.D level process
