DHE Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme
Directorate of Higher Education, Goa invites applications for Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme for the year 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21.
Objective
1. To promote pursuit of post-graduate and doctoral studies by talented younger population of Goa by recognizing the meritorious and outstanding candidates by providing scholarship.
2. To encourage the students for taking admission in India and abroad reputed institutions and to motivate them to take up cutting-edge research.
3. To boost the efforts of the State in promoting quality education, research and innovation
Eligibility Conditions
** The age of the applicant for the Scholarship shall not exceed 35 years as on 1st January of the year for which Scholarship is disbursed.
** The applicant should be resident of Goa for a minimum period of 15 years.
** The applicant must have passed the qualifying degree examination from an institution preferably located in Goa.
** The applicant must have scored minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying degree examination along with minimum 70% aggregate marks as per the criteria detailed at Clause IX of this scheme for shortlisting of the candidates.
** The applicant must have obtained confirmed admission during the period of the Scholarship.
** The applicant shall pursue post graduate or doctoral courses in any discipline
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme.
Steps :
Step 1 : Visit the official website of Directorate of Higher Education through provided above.
Step 2 : Next, Click on one of the following links applicable to you
a. “Application form for Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme 2018-19”
b. “Application form for Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme 2019-20”
c. “Application form for Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme 2020-21”.
Step 3 : Fill in all the data in the Google Form
Step 4 : Upload the photograph and the documents(pdf) in the Google Form
Step 5 : Submit the Google Form by pressing the ‘Submit’ button. The Online Form will be closed after the cutoff time.
Step 6 : Upon successful submission of the Google Form, you will immediately receive an email in the registered account, containing the details you have entered in the Google Form(only details will be sent in the email). In case you don’t find the email in your inbox, then please check the spam/junk folder.
Step 7 : Print the email as it is.
Step 8 : Affix your passport-sized colour photograph in the space provided on the hard copy of the email.
Step 9 : Fill in the details in the Declaration Section on the hard copy of the email.
Step 10 : Download the template for the Covering Letter from the DHE Website
Step 11 : Number the Self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents as Page-1, Page-2, and so on.
Step 12 : Fill in the details in the Covering Letter as required. Please mention the corresponding Page No of the self-attested documents in the table.
Step 13 : Send the covering letter, the hard copy of the email along with the self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents to the Directorate of Higher Education, SCERT Building, Alto-Porvorim, Goa 403 521 by post/courier. No hand delivery will be allowed.
Selection Process
** After the scrutiny of the data and documents by the Screening Committee, the list of candidates shortlisted for the interview will be uploaded on the DHE website.
** Discrepancies if any in the submission will be conveyed via email.
** Applicants are required to visit the DHE website and check their email for updates.

Scholarship Amount
The Award shall consist of scholarship the screening committee. amounting to INR 8,00,000/- lakh for pursuing studies in India or USD 25,000/- for studies in abroad and an appreciation certificate. In all cases, the disbursement shall be made in Indian currency (INR).

If my post graduation program is offered in collaboration with 2 universities.
Can I mention both universities and ranks of both universities in the google form?.
