Application for scholarship programme :
The Valmiki Foundation is a not-for-profit organization set up by Mr.Surya Ganesh Valmiki, a visionary entrepreneur with a strong sense of social commitment.

In 2008 he established the Valmiki Foundation to undertake activities in the areas of health and education by designing its own programmes by partnering with individuals, associates and other organizations to support their projects.

His vision to recognize and promote intellectual excellence gave birth to this scholarship programme. This is aimed at enabling meritorious students pursue their studies with out any break in their carrier due to financial constraints.

Valmiki Foundation takes pleasure in announcing Valmiki Foundation Scholarship Programme for meritorious students and inviting applications from students, parents, schools, Ngo’s other agencies before 1st June of every academic year and the selected students will be awarded Rupees Three thousands Only (Rs 3000) for their educational expenses On 26 June of every academic year.

Valmiki Foundation supports the students, the future of tomorrow’s growth with all humility and passion.

Eligible Criteria :
** Indian Nationals, Residing in India
** Orphans/ single parents/ street children/ child labors
** Students from 1st standard to Post Graduation
** Students from registered orphanages/ NGO’s/ Trusts/ Govt & private schools and Individuals
** 70% of scoring marks in qualifying examination
** Annual income of the parent should be below 36,000 per year (In case of single parents)

Documents to be furnished at the time of application :
** Covering letter from respective Orphanage/ NGO/ Trust/ School
** Mark sheet of qualifying examination
** Detail case study of an applicant
** Address proof ( In case of Individuals)

Selection process for the scholarship :
All applications will be screened for short listing and short listed candidates will be required to attend a personal interview at Valmiki foundation office. The interview is mandatory and is the basis for final selection.
