Applications for the VIF Fellowship 2019 are open. VIF fellowship is a 1-year residency (extendable up to 3 years) program for motivated change makers who are aspiring to build a successful career aligned with nation-building

VIF Fellowship Eligibility
The following candidates are eligible for the fellowship
** The candidate should have a relevant Masters/PhD degree.
** Fellows from all educational backgrounds are accepted.
** Fellows having a work experience of two or more years.
Note : In rare and exceptional cases, applicants who do not meet the requirements mentioned above can be shortlisted.
VIF Fellowship Application

Step 3 : Fill the fellowship application with the required fields and click on the “Proceed” button
Step 4 : Fill the remaining details and Attach the necessary documents (if required).
Step 5: Finally Submit the application.
Fellowship Benefits
The applicants selected for the fellowship will receive benefits up to a total cost of INR 500,000 per year.
The break will be as follows :
** Food and accommodation at VIF residency worth INR 15,000 per month
** Training component worth INR 5000 per month
** Monthly stipend of INR 15,000 per month
** Performance driven reward of INR 100,000 after successful completion of the fellowship
Note : The applicants will also receive continued mentorship as well as customised curriculum and training for career-building.
FAQs
1. I am a student. Can I apply?
Final year students can apply if they are set to complete the degree by May. However, most of our fellows have work experience, or a relevant masters/PhD degree, or both.
2. When does the fellowship start?
Fellows will report to initial training (at Policy BootCamp) in the month of June, followed by the residency from 1st July.
3. What is the duration of a fellowship?
Selected candidates will be engaged full-time for 1 year and it is extendable up to 3 years.
4. May I apply for more than one domain/fellowships?
Yes, The application form allows you to choose up to 2 domains in the order of your preference. Only one such application is allowed.
5. Is training a part of the fellowship?
Yes, training is a core component of the fellowship. Fellows are trained through a variety of activities during the fellowship.
6. Are there specific educational requirements for different projects?
Applicants with relevant education and work experience will have an edge in the selection process. Fellows are provided with regular training to keep up with the desired outcomes.
