Villgro Fellowship 2015-16:
Application Process :
The selection process for the Fellowship is rigorous, so that we can find passionate and committed leaders of tomorrow. Through our selection process, we will place you in one of Villgro’s innovative incubatee enterprises based on your skills, interests and fit. This year, we also have some opportunities across Villgro initiatives that will allow you to work closely with entrepreneurs and gain exposure to social enterprise. Do take a look at the tab on the left to read up on our social enterprises and Villgro programs that are looking for talented and passionate individuals to come on board.
On our application form, we ask you to indicate your interests in different sectors that Villgro’s entrepreneurs work in and specify your work experience and functional expertise. We would like you to share your detailed background, interests, experience and strengths and weaknesses to help us assess your application better. You will have an opportunity to do this through our essay questions.
After reviewing your applications carefully, our first shortlist of applicants will be invited to a phone interview. This interview will help us understand you better and help us match you to a role that will suit your experience, skills, interest and passion.
After the first interview, we will further shortlist applicants for specific roles and invite you to interview with us in person or via Skype. This interview will focus on the specific role you are being considered for. We will help you understand the role and the social enterprise and in turn assess your skills and abilities to fit into the role.
We will also have conversations with your referees to better understand your previous achievements and experience. Based on these three stages of assessment, we will select the Villgro Fellowship cohort 2015-16.
Application Guidelines :
Before you fill out your application, do make sure you read through these tips as they’re designed to help you put your best foot forward: You can apply to the Villgro Fellowship only through our online application portal. You will be able to save your application along the way and come back to it.

Focus on interests, experience and strengths: We value your academic experience. However our selection is not based on your GPA or percentage achieved. We are more interested in your interests, and ability to leverage your skills and experience and understanding what drives you.
References:
Please provide details of references who know you well. We will be reaching out to them after you have interviewed with us. The reference is another way for us to understand your experience and strengths.
