The grant aims at financially supporting the college education of selected scholars based on their financial need.
Who Can Apply?
1. Students studying in colleges located within Mumbai / Mumbai suburban areas are eligible to apply — from standard XI till (except engineering).
2. Student should have secured at least a pass class in their previous examination (ATKT students are not eligible to apply).
3. Maximum of two children from the same family can apply.
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the Means Grant For College 2019-20.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website provided above.
Step 2 : Then read the instructions carefully and click on the Apply button in the right top corner of the home page.
Step 3 : Next Please identify yourself select Individual if you are applying for personal grant or select Nominator if you are applying on behalf of others
Step 4 : Enter the personal email address to register and log in.
Step 5 : Click on ‘Apply’ to start the application for the grant.
Step 6 : Read all the instructions carefully and click on ‘Next’.
Step 7 : Fill in all required details and upload all supporting documents.
Step 8 : Finally, submit the application.
Documents Required
** Latest salary slips (for salaried persons)
** Complete set of income tax returns (for self-employed candidates)
** Statement of income receiving from investments along with documentary proof (for retired candidates who are receiving income from investments)
** Copy of pension passbook with last 6 months entries (for pensioners)
** Letter from the college where the student is studying on their letterhead
** Copies of mark sheet for last academic year
** Current year’s fee receipt
** Original cancelled cheque pertaining to the applicant’s bank account
** The first page of applicant’s bank account passbook
Instructions
** Original fee receipts, if submitted, will be returned to the student after completion of the processes by the Trust office. All other documents will be retained by the Trust.
** Submitting an application form to the Trusts’ Office does not guarantee a Grant from the Trusts. The decision of the Trustees would be final and no communication in this regards will be entertained.
** Application forms with manipulated / false information shall be treated as void and legal action will be taken as deemed necessary.
** Trust office reserves the rights to verify information provided by the student / applicant.
** If required the Trust may communicate with the student / applicant through email / SMS/ phone calls / personal visit, whichever necessary.
** The Trusts does not have any intermediaries / agents. Applicants are advised to beware of individuals who claim to represent the Trusts and demand a share from the grant, if sanctioned.
In case any such demands are made, applicants are requested to kindly bring the matter to the notice of Trust Office immediately.
