Who Can Apply?
** Candidates currently studying in Class X in any recognized Schools.
** NMMSS Awardees are also allowed to appear for NTS Examination.
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the SLNTS 2018.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Manipur Directorate of Education through the URL https://manipureducation.gov.in/
Step 2 : Then click on the “Application Forms for NMMSE, STSE and SLNTSE, 2018” link under the Notification tab.
Step 3 : Next select “State Level National Talent Search Examination, 2018 (Class X)” to download your applications form

Step 4 : Complete filled in Application Forms along with the supporting documents should be submitted to the respective office of the District School Education Officer.
Note :
Application forms without supporting Documents and incomplete information will be rejected.
Documents Required
** Two Passport size (School uniform)
** Mark Sheet/ Report Card,
** SC/ST Certificate,
** Disability Status Certificates from Competent Authority and
** Income Certificates are to be submitted to the DSEO/ SDSEO of the respective District/Sub-division.
Exam Pattern
The examination will be conducted in two sessions on the same day. You have to take the examination as per details given below
1. Mental Ability Test (MAT)
2. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT),

The Applicants are requested to refer/consult State Liaison Officer for the composition of the test.Each question carries 1(one) mark.
Scholarship Amount
On the basis of the National Talent Search Examination, (stage-2) 1000 scholarships will be awarded by NCERT New Delhi.
The amount of scholarship will be as under :
(a) Scholarship of Rs.1250/- per month for class-Xl to XII.
(b) Scholarship of Rs.2000/- per month for Undergraduates and post-graduates.
(c) Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. is fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.
Instructions
** Candidate can collect the Admit card from the Centre Superintendent of the Examination Centre at least one week before the examination.
** Reach the Examination Centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the Examination; and occupy the seat that bears your Roll Number.
** DO NOT take Mobile Phones, Calculator, Mathematical or Physical table or any other kind of ready reckoned to the Examination Hall.
** Write your Roll Number, as given in the Admit Card, on the Answer Sheet and on the Cover Page of the Question Booklet in the space provided.
** All questions in the booklets are objective type. For each question, Four possible answers are given, but only one is correct. Your task is to find out the correct answer and mark your choice in the Answer Sheet
** Record your answer-using Ball Point Pen only. Hand over your Question Booklet and Answer Sheets to the Invigilator before you leave the Examination hall.
