The Department of Tribal Affairs & Hills,(Tribal Affairs Division), Manipur invites applications for award of Post Matric Scholarship from the eligible Scheduled Tribe students for the year 2018-19.

Who Can Apply?
(a) XI Class, BA/BSc-I, MA-Previous, MBBS-I etc.
(b) XII Class, BA/BSc-II/III year, MA-Final,6 MBBS-II/III/IV etc. who did not apply in the previous year(s) ].
(c) Students whose parents’/guardians’ annual income does not exceeds Rs.2,50,000/-

Just follow the below steps to apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship 2018-19.

Step 1 : Post Matric Scholarship application Forms can be downloaded ( to be printed on both sides of Legal size paper ) from the department website.

Step 2 : Read the instructions carefully and fill the application form with the required fields.
Step 3 : The filled in application Forms should positively reach the office of the undersigned on or before the last date.
Step 4 : Scholarship forms should be forwarded by the Principal/Head of institution along with detailed list of the students, Date of birth, Parents’ names, Full address with District, Annual income, Aadhar no., class-wise with Roll No., Enrolment/Regd.no.& dt., Board/University names, Bank Account No. with IFSC and MICR Codes & Contact Nos.(Phone) of each student in hard copy as well as soft copy in MS Excel format, to the undersigned within the stipulated date.
Note :
All the institutions are required to submit an attested copy of affiliation order/letter & recognition letter of the institution as proof that the institution is affiliated to a Government recognised Board/University and that the institution is a Government recognised Institution.
Documents Required
To Be Enclosed/Attached With This Application Form
(a) Self attested copies of Certificates, Mark Sheets, Admit Card of exam passed as at Sl. No. 4 of Part –A.
(b) Income Certificate of father/mother/guardian/husband ending 31st March of the current year in original issued by the competent authorities/executive magistrates.
(c) Scheduled Tribe Certificate of the applicant issued by the competent authorities/ executive magistrates (original copy).
(d) Certificate in support of claim as Hosteller, issued by the warden of the hostel as at Sl. No. 3 (j) of Part – A. (The Certificate must be countersigned by the head of the Institution if not run by the Institution).
(e) Break Certificate, if any (as stated at Sl. No. 2 above).
(f) Self attested copy of Aadhaar Card.
(g) A copy of the first page portion of the Bank Passbook/Bank Statement wherein account number, IFSC code, etc. are visible should also be attached in the application form.
Terms & Conditions
** Direct individual submission of this application form will not be accepted in case of students studying inside the State.
** Payment will be made electronically by transferring into the respective bank account of the applicant, so each applicant is required to open a bank account in his/her own name and should compulsorily furnish his/her bank account details neat & clearly in the annexures – I and ii attached herewith this form.
** The decision of the awarding authority is final
Last Date
The last date of receipt of the Application Form in this office is 31st October, 2018. After this stipulated date of submission, no application Form will be received.

Please tell, how to fill up all the pages if written, it will be more convenient for the student.
We got problem regarding scholarship, we applied for 2017-18 scholarship and now again the time has come for 2018-19 scholarship but we couldn't receive the amount which is suppose to be disbursed by the concern department and Pandu college, Assam is demanding for PMS list because we are applying for renewal though we didn't get scholarship of 2017-18. Should we apply for fresh or renewal? If we apply for renewal we need to show disbursed list which is demanded in college for every renewal applicant. Please help out.
We did not get scholarship of 2017-2018. Why?
