GOKDOM M.Phil & Ph.D. Fellowship
Applications are invited for Fellowship 2018-19 (J.R.F. Model) from the eligible Students belonging to Minority Communities (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi) pursuing M.Phil and Ph.D courses in any subject from a Government Recognized University.

Eligibility
(i) Candidate should belong to minority community (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi & Jain).
(ii) Candidate should be domicile of State of Karnataka.
(iii) Age of candidate should be less than 35 years.
(iv) Candidate should not be a Government Employee of full time employee in private organisation.
(v) Candidate should submit the minority community certificate issues by Tahasildar.
(vi) The annual income of the beneficiary/parents or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs. 6 lakh per annual from all sources. Candidate should submit his/her income or his/her parent’s/guardian’s income certificate issued by the Tahasildar.
(vii) Candidate should be registered for regular and full time M.Phil/Ph.D courses in University / Academic Institution by fulfilling conditions of admission of that University/Institution.

Amount of Fellowship
Fellowship | @Rs. 25,000/- per month for Two years for M.Phil. course @Rs. 25,000/ per month for Three years for Ph.D. course. |
Contingency | @Rs. 10,000/- per annum for Two years M.Phil. course @Rs. 10,000/- per annum for Three years Ph.D. course. |

After successful online registration the candidates must download OFFLINE APPLICATION FORM from the official website or you can directly download it from the below mentioned PDF.

Release of Grant
** The fellowship amount shall be disbursed by Directorate of Minorities into the bank account of the Awardee directly.
** At the end of every three months the fellow shall submit a ‘Continuation Certificate,Attendance Certificate,’ in the prescribed proforma. Annexure-II.

** After completion of every six months of the award of fellowship, the concerned fellow/Awardee shall submit and present its ‘Progress Report’
** The Fellow/Awardee shall also submit and present Accounts of Contingency Grants in the proforma.

I am a newly appointed full time research scholar and I am 23 years old. I am not able to fulfill these requirements. Candidate should submit the minority community certificate issues by Tahasildar. The annual income of the beneficiary/ parents (or) guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs.6 lakh per annual from all sources. Candidate should submit his/her income (or) his/her parent’s/guardian’s income certificate issued by the Tahasildar. Am I still eligible for a scholarship?
