Sahu Jain Trust Announces the 2018-2019 Need-Cum-Merit Based Educational Scholarship

The scholarships are given to deserving students for pursuing higher studies (beyond higher secondary level) in India. Scholarship amount ranges from Rs. 2500/- to Rs. 25,000/- per year.

Who Can Apply?

Application are invited for interest free Loan Scholarship pursuing Graduation and Post Graduation in technical subjects like Engineering, Infotech, Medical, MBA etc. in India.

Important Dates

1. Existing recipients of scholarship will have to apply again for continuance by 30.7.2018
2. Last date for receipt of Completed Forms from fresh applicants by the Trust – 30.8.2018

(b) Candidate is required to give two names who are in the position and are willing to stand surety for repayment of loan scholarship

Rules & Conditions

** It is essential that the candidate should fill in correctly and truthfully all the information in the application form.
** Applications would be received upto 31st July every year and scholarships would be announced by the end of October.

** In case of scholarship amount is upto Rs. 10,000/-. The candidate has to execute an undertaking in the form of a bond on a simple paper that as soon as he commences earning he will start repaying the loan scholarship without any interest thereon at the minimum rate of 10% of his earnings every month till the entire amount is repaid. Scholarship would be remitted only after receipt of this Bond.

** In case the amount of scholarship is in excess of Rs. 10,000/-. The candidate shall execute an indemnity/guarantee bond with two sureties in the prescribed form under taking to refund the amount of scholarship.

** If the student discontinues his studies during the mid session for which he is getting the scholarship, he must immediately inform the Trust of the same and would be liable to refund the entire amount.

** Incomplete forms are liable to summary rejection.
** The decision of the Trust shall be final, and no claim or correspondence shall be entertained in that respect.
