DIT University always encourages scholarly aptitude and merit in Students. In order to facilitate Scholarship among Students towards their Academic excellence, following Scholarships are awarded by University to Meritorious students.
Scholarship Schemes
Merit Based Scholarship Policy
Bachelor of Computer Application BCA:
>= 90% & above in XII Std. 50%
>=80% to < 90% in XII Std. 40%
>=70% to < 80% in XII Std. 20%
MCA Lateral Entry:
>=80% in Graduation 40%
>=70% to < 80% in Graduation 30%
>=60% to < 70% in Graduation 20%
01-50 UKSEE Rank 40%
51-100 UKSEE Rank 30%
101-150 UKSEE Rank 20%
Uttarakhand State Scholarship Policy
26% scholarship on tuition fee shall be granted to permanent residents of Uttarakhand for whom 40% seats are reserved throughout the program.
For claiming Uttarakhand State Scholarship, student will be considered eligible ONLY if he/she is carrying a valid Domicile Certificate in Original at the time of reporting for Counselling.
Shri Naveen Agarwalji Scholarship
Scholarship of 10% of Tuition fees applicable for Girl student in first year for UG program subject to the following conditions
a) Student has scored 80% & above in X & XII Std. in aggregate.
b) Scholarship percentage will remain same for UK/AI/FN/NRI/SAARC.
c) Scholarship to be continued from second year provided student obtains CGPA 8.5 and above every year, without any back paper.
Scholarship For Defence Personnel
Scholarship of 5% of Tuition fees is applicable for son/daughter of Defence personnel in first year of the UG program. For claiming the scholarship, student will be considered eligible ONLY if he/she is carrying a valid certificate/document in original at the time of reporting for Counseling.
Scholarships For New Admissions
a) Scholarship of 5% of Tuition fees is applicable for the siblings of present students/Alumnus and this is applicable for first year of the Programme only.
b) Scholarship of 10% of Tuition fees (applicable for first year) for the students graduating from DITU and opting for a higher course in DITU without any gap.
Rules For Scholarships
a) In case any candidate falls in category (A) & (B) the candidate may choose higher of the two options of Scholarship in the first year.
b) If the student belongs to Uttarakhand category and is entitled for higher scholarship from category (A) in first year (Refer point “a” above), he/she will continue to be eligible for UK domicile scholarship for rest of the tenure of the course.
c) In case any Girl Student is falling either in Category (A) or in Category (B) and also in Category (C ), in such case she is eligible for Scholarship of Higher of category (A) or (B) along with additional scholarship of Category (C ).
d) Scholarship Category (C, D and E) are over and above scholarship of Category (A) or (B), as applicable.
e) The students who are eligible for the scholarship/s as per the norms specified by the University should address their application to the Registrar with relevant documents for consideration latest by 31st August 2018.
f) Total of all scholarships are subject to maximum limit of applicable Tuition fees for the year.
g) Scores/Marks/Grades/Ranks as required for award of scholarship should be without any Back/Improvement/Supplementary papers.
h) In case, at any later stage, any discrepancy in the document/s or awarding of scholarship/s in appropriate category is found, DIT University has right to make necessary correction/s at any stage including recovery of amount of such scholarship.
i) In case of any dispute/discrepancy/clarification final decision of the Vice Chancellor would be abiding.
j) All disputes are subject to Dehradun jurisdiction.
