Merit cum Means Scholarship:
Type 1: Merit Scholarship to MBA Students of 2nd year (2 Numbers):
“Dr. Dipchandbhai Gardi – SMJV Centenary (1915 – 2015) – CKSVIM Merit Scholarship by Dr. Satendra Kumar and Dr. Mrs. Rekha Shrivastav” to be disbursed to one MBA Topper Boy and one MBA Topper Girl students of CKSVIM during the forthcoming Academic Year, July 2014 to June 2015 (One year).
The Donor Dr. Satendra Kumar has assured to give an Endowment Fund, the interest amount of which shall be utilized to continue this scholarship for next 10 years or more.
Type 2: Merit cum Means Scholarship to MBA Students (60 Numbers):
SMJV’s C K Shah Vijapurwala Institute of Management is proud to announce 60 Numbers of Merit cum Means Scholarship under the name of “Dr. Dipchandbhai Gardi – SMJV Centenary (1915 – 2015) – CKSVIM MBA Merit cum Means Scholarship” to be disbursed during the two forthcoming Academic Years, July 2014 to June 2016 (Two years).
Conditions of Scholarship:
Merit :
For calculating the merit, two criteria will be taken into consideration:
i) Percentage of the student in the final year of graduation.
ii) CMAT score of 2014 exam. Both the criteria will be given 50% weightage each and then the final merit will be calculated.
Means :
For calculating the Means, Annual Family Income will be considered. For those students whose Annual Family income is less than or equal to Rs. 3.00 Lacs p.a. will be considered for this scholarship.
A final list will be prepared of all the students based on Merit and Means Criteria. From this final list, 30 students of MBA first year and another 30 students of MBA second year will be given scholarship of Rs. 1,000/ per month per student for 24 or 12 months as applicable.
We want to appeal to the donors to kindly sponsor atleast one student, boy or girl, or as many as they can, with a scholarship amount of Rs. 24,000/- p.a. for two year MBA student, and / or Rs. 12,000/- p.a. for second year MBA student.
