Dakshana offers a one-year Scholarship after Class 12 to prepare for JEE/AIPMT, for bright, intelligent but impoverished students from schools, across India.

Dakshana Two Year JEE Scholarship Program
Selected scholars will be provided coaching, accommodation and food free of cost in this fully-residential program at Dakshana Foundation @ Ananda Valley, which is located in Village Kadus in Pune District (near Rajgurunagar), on the Pune-Nasik Road.
Medium of instruction is English.

Selection for the scholarship is through the Joint Dakshana Selection Test (JDST). All interested students, currently pursuing Class 12 Science (through any Board) can apply for the scholarship through this link – www.dakshana.org/apply. Shortlisted students will be invited to take the Joint Dakshana Selection Test.
Eligibility:
Candidates must be:
** Currently enrolled in Class 12 Science
** Family income should be below Rs 1,20,000/- per annum
** Students from Government/Corporation managed schools will be preferred
** For current year, this program is for only boys.
Joint Dakshana Selection Test (JDST):
Dakshanas selection test (JDST) will be held in March/April . Date of the exam will be confirmed on our website.
The format of the test is:
Paper 1: Mathematics/Biology and Logical Reasoning.
Paper 2: Physics and Chemistry.
All questions on Mathematics/Biology, Physics and Chemistry are asked from Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT syllabus, although the difficulty level of questions might be higher. Each paper has 50 questions and is to be completed in 90 minutes.
Students eligible for the selection test shall be informed through email. List of eligible students along with their center will also be posted on the website. Please be tuned with www.dakshana.org for more information.
Only those students who will secure minimum 75% aggregate marks in Class 12 (Qualifying examination) will be eligible for selection for scholarship.

Know About Two Year Dakshana JEE Scholarship :
Dakshana’s two-year JEE Scholarship program is exclusively available for students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. Dakshana has to date (through May 2014) inducted around 1700+ students in this program since 2007.
Over 600 of these scholars have cracked the JEE to secure admissions into IITs while the others have cleared the AIEEE or JEE Mains to pursue an education in engineering and science at premium institutions like NIT and others in the country.
Students are selected for the scholarship after Class 10 through a selection test the Grand Dakshana Selection Test (GDST).
Grand Dakshana Selection Test (GDST) :
The GDST is conducted simultaneously at 50+ centres across India in March/April every year. GDST is also divided into two parts:
Paper 1: Mathematics and Logical Reasoning.
Paper 2: Physics and Chemistry.
