Individual Aid :
We believe that potential and a will to excel should not be curbed by monetary limitations. To ensure this, SNWF identifies and assists bright and passionate students from disadvantaged backgrounds, who excel in academics.

We strive to support and mentor them as they build brighter futures for themselves, both financially and socially. We also provide students from economically challenged backgrounds the opportunity to pursue higher education in a field of specialized study of their choice.

Developing the Potential of Children with Special Needs:
We work with families of children with special needs arising due to physical or mental disabilities. We provide special care and attention to these children and strive to ensure that they realize their maximum potential.

Education for Girls:
Our aim is not only to increase the enrollment of girls into schools, but also to liaise with parents, community leaders and school administrators to ensure that they work together towards educating these young girls. We provide them with high quality education, supplemented by material as well as community support.

Formal Education:
Through our initiatives in formal education, we aim to reach out to the rural, semi-rural and urban slum communities and impart structured education to underprivileged children. The drop-out rates of children undergoing formal education in these communities is unacceptably high.

This may be due to the reluctance of parents to keep their kids in school, a lack of good teachers and infrastructure, a need to earn money for the home or even basic lack of interest. Our focus is on helping reduce drop out rates and increasing attendance, by providing well trained teachers, high quality education, learning improvement programs, libraries and promoting extracurricular activities.

This not only builds interest but also works on the holistic development of these children, thus helping them better cope with their adverse circumstances.

Non Formal:
Children are often victims of difficult circumstances such as child labour, street dwelling and poverty, and do not have access to formal systems of education. We provide complimentary as well as supplementary education to these children as well as children studying in municipal schools.

We support non-formal education in the form of balwadis and, tuition classes as well as adult learning classes. Our educational programmes are customized to smoothen the process of learning more conducive to these children.
