It is informed to the general public that the Cantonment Board intends to provide scholarship for pursuing higher studies like HSLC, ITI, BE., MBBS., Graduate, PG, Vocational courses etc., to the students residing in Cantonment Board limit.

The students of Cantonment Board High Schools also may apply. Applications can be downloaded from the website www.cbstm.org.in . The last date for the receipt of applications is 15.09.2017
Instructions to the Candidates who apply for Scholarship :
i) Students residing in Cantonment apply for this Scholarship.
ii) The Total Family Income of the candidate should not exceed Rs. 1.75 Lakhs
iii) Students of Cantonment Board High Schools & Govt. Aided Schools within Cantonment area will be given priority.
iv) Preference will be given to the children of differently abled, widow and destitute women.
v) Other things being equal preference will be given to Girl students, residents of slum cluster, students who secure higher unarks in the qualifying examination.
vi) Application can be downloaded from www.cbstm.org.in (or) photo copies can also be used.
vii) The decision of the scholarship committee will be intimated to the’ beneficiaries. The Candidates may also view the result in web site (www.cbstm.org.in).
viii) The Scholarship will be paid by means of Cheque, under intimation to the Head of Institution in which he/she is studying.
ix) Last Date of filled in applications is 15.09.2017

About Cantonment Board :
The Cantonment Board St.Thomas Mount cum Pallavaram established in the year 1774, is the second oldest Cantonment in the country. It is located 18kms away from the Central Railway Station. The total area of Cantonment is 2918.67 acres. It is basically divided in to three locations namely St.Thomas Mount, Meenambakkam and Pallavaram.
It comprises of some prominent places like the St.Thomas Mount itself, which is a sacred place of Christians where St.Thomas, who was one the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ, who was martyred in this Mount, the Anna International Airport, and the Officers Training Academy, the only Army Training Institution in the country to offer training to Short Service Commission
