Ratti Chhatr Scholarship :

Panasonic Scholarship Office will accept applications for the 2015 Panasonic Scholarship in India under the terms and conditions stated below.

Eligibility :

A student from below poverty line category or a student whose family cannot fund for his studies and wishes to pursue a graduate (B.E/B.Tech) course from Indian Institutes of Technology in India, should meet the following requirements

1.Nationality:
Applicants must be citizens of India.

2.Candidate should be a BPL card Holder or his family Income is not Sufficient enough to fund his graduate (B.E/B.Tech) studies at IIT.

3. Educational Background for IIT graduate (B.E/B.Tech) Course:
Applicants must have cleared his Higher Secondary exam or are awaiting their final results and have a distinguished academic record and must have completed 14 years of school education or have been accepted as eligible for enrollment at the targeted Engineering Colleges.

4.Extra-curricular activities:
Candidates must have a strong background in Extra-curricular activities.

5. Only Candidates with admission letter and first semester fee reciept will be eligible for the scholarship.
Number of Students to be accepted Not more than 30 (Thirty) students

Assistance and Scholarship:
Scholarship assistance of INR 42,500 per year per student to cover their tuition fees.

Forms and Applications:
Applicants must submit the following documents by the Last Date to the address provided below.

Documents to be submitted:

** Application form (prescribed form No.1)
** Certified copy of the 10th Mark sheet
** Certified copy of the 12th Mark sheet
** (3) copies of recent passport size photographs (taken in the last six months), The applicant’s name is to be written on the reverse side and one copymust be affixed to Application form No.1.
** Certificate of family Income. BPL certificate or a certificate from local Panchayat office with the proof of annual family Income
** All India rank on JEE exam along with the final admission letter from the IIT.
** Candidate will have to submit the fee receipt in advance at the start of used semster to be eligible for getting the scholarship.

Time Lines:

1st June , 2015- Notification of Scholarship on the site
1st June- 15th July’2015- Expression of Interest by Candidates
1st July- 15th July’2015- Candidates admitted in IITs to Submit the Application online with supporting documents.
1st July- 21st July’2015- Candidates admitted in IITs to Submit the Application through post with supporting documents.
3rd August- 9th August- Notification to shortlisted candidates for online behavioral test
10th August- 14th August- Online Behavioral test of shortlisted candidates on any one day.
17th August- 20th August- Notification to shortlisted candidates for personal interview rounds.
22nd August- 23rd August- Personal Interview with Panasonic
24th August- Final Shortlist of 30 Students for PI Scholarship award and culmination event.

*Any application received after the Last Date shall not be accepted.
