Merit cum Means Based Scholarship :
Online applications are invited in the prescribed format from the students belonging to the (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Parsis & Jains) pursuing Technical/Professional Courses at Under Graduate / Post Graduate level in an institution recognized by an appropriate authority are eligible for Merit Cum Mean based Scholarship for the year 2015-16 to be awarded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India.

Conditions For Scholarship:
1. Students should be resident of Haryana state.
2. Aadhaar card number is required to apply online.
3. The annual income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of beneficiary should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh from all sources.
4. The Income Certificate would remain valid for One Year.
5. Financial assistance will be given to pursue graduate level or post graduate level technical and professional courses from a recognized institution. Course fee and Maintenance allowance will be credited/transferred directly into the bank account of selected students.
6. Students who get admission to a college to pursue technical/professional courses, on the basis of a competitive examination will be eligible for the scholarship.
7. Students who get admission in technical/professional courses without taking any competitive examination will also be eligible for scholarship. However, such students should have not less than 50% marks at higher secondary/graduation level. Selection of these students will be done strictly on merit basis.
8. Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years will depend on successful completion of the course during the preceding year.
9. A scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship/stipend for pursuing the course.
Rate of Scholarship:
The rate of scholarship will be as under
1. Maintenance Allowance: (For 10 months only)
Rate for hostler : Rs.10,000/-per annum ( Rs.1000 p.m.)
Rate for Day Scholar : Rs.5,000/- per annum. ( Rs.500 p.m.)
Total: Rs.30,000/-
2. Course Fee*:
Rate for hostler : Rs.20,000/- per annum or Actual whichever is less
Rate for Day Scholar : Rs.20,000/- per annum or Actual whichever is less
Total : Rs.25,000/-
Note:
* Full Course Fee will be reimbursed for the listed institutions.
How to apply:
1. Eligible students can apply online on the website www.scholarships.gov.in.
2. Students will forward their applications online to the Institutions and will also take a printout.
3. This printout along with all requisite documents will be submitted to the concerned institutions.

Pleas help me. I have not received the scholarship fund. My application ID is HR201516003928808
My Scholarship got sanctioned and amount got transferred for the renewal year 2015-16. But I would like to mention that my scholarship for year 2013-14 was also sanctioned but still amount has not yet been transferred on website. It has been written that there might have been account details problem so the amount of 2013-14 will be transferred with this year.
But it still stands pending.
Kindly let me know how would I receive and also what needs to be done?

Sanctioned list of Merit cum Means Scheme 2015-16 is not yet released.

I AM TRYING SINCE 20 DAYS BUT IN THE 2ND STAGE WHEN WE ENTER ACADEMIC DETAILS AND TRY TO SAVE ITS NOT TAKING , WHAT TO DO?
I really want a scholarship. Family income is so small. Moreover I belong to general category. Whether we have no rights to get scholarship for fresh undergraduate courses. Infact,I never get a single scholarship from my school days even scoring good marks.
If there is any chance please tell the procedure.
