Merit based scholarship:
Out of the total no. of applicants, the top 62 meritorious students will be awarded with this scholarship on the basis of performance in the online test and interview. Eligibility is based solely on test results, board marks and interview.
Need cum Merit based scholarship:
Out of the total no. of applicants, the top 62 needy students will be awarded this scholarship. Eligibility is based on the income of the prospective student and his or her family along with test results, board marks and interview.

** Mental Ability/Elementary Math – 20 Questions

** The All India Meritorious Scholarship Test is organized by Smiling Star Pvt. Ltd with a mission to reach out to students with exceptional educational and economic needs by providing funds and financial guidance to enable student access to higher education.
** The total no. of seats in the test is subject to the no. of students applying.
** The participation fee includes 6-month premium membership worth INR 249 providing hundreds of scholarship alerts and notifications through SMS and Emails.
** Total scholarship is distributed equally between merit based and need-cum-merit based scholarships.
** Merit scholarship is solely based on the test results, board marks and interview round.
** Need cum merit is based on the financial income of the prospective student and his or her family
FAQ :
Q1. What is the eligibility criteria?
A: Students who have appeared for their board exams (Both 10, 12) or are pursuing class 11 or 12 are eligible to apply.
Q2. What is the application process?
A: The student has to pay an application fees of INR 249 and register. Then he/she has to fill a five-step application that includes personal details, academic details, introductory questions, documents and final declaration and form submission.
Q3. How many candidates will get the scholarship?
A: A maximum of 124 candidates will get the scholarship.

In case of a lower than expected number of applicants, the no. of prizes will be reduced proportionately.
Q4. What is the process of selection?
A: For merit based scholarship: Selection is based solely on test results and interview.
For need cum merit based scholarship: Selection is based on the family income of the prospective student along with test results, board marks and interview.
Q5. What are the important dates?
A: The application starts from 27 May 2017
Students can give their online examination from 1 June onwards
Test Ends on 31 July 2017. It is subject to change.
Q7. What are the documents required for applying AIMST Scholarship?
A: The applicants are advised to keep up the following required documents:
1. Class 10 Mark sheet
2. Class 12 Mark sheet (If applicable)
3. Identity proof (Aadhar Card, Voter Id, etc.)
4. Proof of family income
Q8. When will I find out if I have been awarded a scholarship?
A: Students who are selected to receive scholarships will be notified by email and call after the final round of telephonic interview.
Q9. What kind of questions will be there in AIMST?
A: The exam consists of 3 sections
1. Mathematical Ability
2. Verbal Ability
3. General Knowledge
20 marks for each section.
Duration of the test is 45 mins and there won’t be any negative marking.
Q10. I have recently got my class 10 results but yet not enrolled in class 11. Am I still eligible for AIMST?
