Fellowship in Economics :
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position/research fellowship position in Economics, valid for one academic year, July 2017 through May 2018. Young researchers are encouraged to apply for this position.

The selected applicant will be paid a stipend of INR 40,000 per month and will have free accommodation at the IEG.
Eligibility:
Applicants should have a completed PhD degree from Indian or foreign university, and should NOT hold a permanent academic post in any other institution. Candidates who have submitted their dissertation but have not yet had their viva can also apply.
Responsibility:
The position carries no teaching obligations. The candidate will be expected to participate in the regular academic activities of the CDE and IEG, especially presentation and attendance in seminars and conferences, contribute to the working paper series, as well as interact with the faculty of both institutions on research issues of mutual interest.

(ii) Copies of not more than three best published or unpublished papers
(iii) Names of three referees
(iv) Copy of PhD certificate. Students who have submitted their dissertation but have not yet had their viva should provide a letter from concerned authorities as proof of submission.
