Science Scholarships:

Applications are invited from the eligible permanent resident Science Students of J&K State having passed 10th with 60% marks & pursuing 11th Science or 12th Science with 60% marks and pursuing BSc Ist Year or BSc with 60% marks and pursuing MSc 1st Year (academic Course) during2016 in any recognized school/Institute/ College /University for availing J&K ST&IC Science Scholarships-2016 however those who have already received State S&T Council’s scholarships in the previous years or are pursuing professional courses are not eligible

Application Procedure:
Applications on the prescribed format duly recommended by Head/ Principal of the School/Institution/ College/ HOD of Universities & accompanied with Enrollment Certificate ,must reach Additional Director Science and Technology, SDA Colony Bemina Srinagar, 190015 (in respect of students of Kashmir Division including Ladakh) Or Assistant, Director J&KST&IC , 5 B/C Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Pin 190008 (in respect of the students of Jammu Division) so as to reach on or before 30th of November 2016 along with following attested documents

Required Documents:
(i) Marks Certificate of qualified examination
(ii) State Subject certificate
(iii) Enrolment certificate from the School/College/University presently enrolled

Note:
** Application incomplete in any respect or not accompanied with the requisite documents or received after last date shall not be considered
** Prescribed application & Enrollment Certificate format can be down loaded from the S&T Council Website at jksandtcouncil.nic.in at Home page under advertisement Section

Declaration :
(i) I hereby declare that the information given above is correct.
(ii) I am not availing any other scholarship for this purpose from any -other source.
(iii) I shall abide by the terms and conditions for sanction of the Scholarship.

(iv) I undertake that if, at any stage, it is found to the satisfaction of the – sanctioning authority that the information given by me is false or -if I violate the terms and conditions of the scholarship, the -scholarship sanctioned to me, may be cancelled and the entire -amount of scholarship will be refunded by me or recovered from me, -apart from such penal action as warranted by law.
