SSC Scholarship:

There are two categories SCHOLARSHIP( Income below 1 lac/for SC candidates 2 lacs)/FREESHIP (Income above 1 lac upper limit 4lacs 50 thousand but the limit can change so should be checked)

** If student is not from Mumbai district change certificate is required for both. It has to be procured from the social welfare office of the place where the student has studied .If the student has not availed of any scholarship in 11th and 12th still a district change change certificate is required saying the same. eg Students from thane district have to get from thane office.

** For renewal no need to fill a fresh form only attach a fresh attested copy of last years marksheet with the old O.K. form.If there is a Drop then the student has to fill a fresh form and give all the above documents once again. Gap Affidavit (Made on 100 Rs stamp paper) to be given only by the student who has received a drop in the previous year.

** All documents have to be attested. Bank account must be in any branch of union bank. For first year candidates the Development fees is also included in the scholarship amount along with tuition and exam fee— for others only tuition fees and exam fee. If the student lives in a hostel then hostel receipt has also to be attached.

Maintenance Allowance :
This allowance is given only to students who are eligible for Scholarships.

** To calculate the amount sanctioned for OBC Freeship = Tuitionfees+Exam fees/2
** To calculate the amount sanctioned for OBC Scholarship = Tuitionfees+Exam fees/2+maintenance fees
** For renewal apply online submit the following to the office:
** Printed Application form
** Marksheet of last year both semesters and any other document that needs to be renewed (eg: non creamy layer which is valid only for a period of 3years)
** However if the student has a drop then he/she has to be considered as a Fresh applicant and he/she has to be treated as a first year student.

SC/ST/SBC/OBC/VJNT-for First year should have the following Documents submitted to the college office hard copy:
1) Application form printed after applying online
2) Cap allotment letter
3) College fee receipt
4)HSC Marksheet can also have X th mark sheet and cet mark sheet
5) Caste Certificate (Maharashtra state)
6) Caste Validity Certificate
7) Ration card(copy of the first and last page)

8)Parents Income certificate(Both-Mother/Father)Income of previous year period from 1st April ____ to 31st March____
a) If the parents are working –Form 16/Certificate from the company stating Annual income (June/July salary slip –compulsory in any case).
b) If the parents have their own business _copy of Financial Statement(Income ExpenditureA/c&Balance Sheet)
c) If the parents are retired —Pension Certificate from the Bank stating full pension of the above mentioned period.

9) Copy of Non creamy layer valid till the March of the current year only from SBC/OBC/VJNT Category students
10) GAP certificate if the student has taken Gap after HSC
11) If the student is a hosteller then receipt from the hostel

The candidates need not pay the above fee to the college except OBC must pay 50% of the fee. Only fresh First year/ S.E. direct admission students get development fee . others don’t get development fee. If a student being in the first year has not applied for ss / fs and is applying for the same in the second year still does not get development fee.
