MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP :
Minority & Backward Classes welfare Department, Govt. of Odisha invites Online applications for award Post Matric Scholarship for the year 2016 – 17 to meritorious students of Odisha belonging to the notified Minority Communities studying in recognized Institution inside Odisha and other States within India from Class +3 up to Ph.D Courses.

Unlike previous year, the online implantation of the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme will be done through common National Scholarship web portal the Govt. of India under URL scholarship.gov.in.
Eligibility criteria of Students in Fresh & Renewal :
** Students must be permanent resident of Odisha
** Income ceiling of parents shall not exceed Rs.2.00 lakha per annum.
** Minimum eligibility mark is 50% secured in the last final examination of the Board/University
Documents to be enclosed :
** Attested Photocopies of the Mark sheet of Last Qualifying Examination.
** Self-certification of the students toward community certificate. One Passport size photograph with signature of the students thereon (Fresh Students)
** Income Certificate of recent year in Original. (Issued from the competent Authority Not lets than post of Additional Tahasildar).
** Attested Photocopy of the Resident Certificate of Recent Year.
** Attested Photocopy of Candidate’s own Bank Passbook (The pass book should contain Account Holder’s name, Account number clearly mentioned, Bank’s Branch/IFSC code and photograph).
** Original Income declaration of parents or guardian from all the sources on non-judicial stamp paper.
** The last date of Fresh Students online application 30.09.2016 and submission of Institute copy in the University counter 05.10.2016.
