National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship :
National Means – Cum- Merit Examination (NMMS)-2016-17 to be conducted on 27.11.2016 (Sunday) for the students presently studying in Class-VIII in Govt./ Govt Aided and Local Body Schools (NDMC) under the jurisdiction of Delhi The selected students will be nominated to MHRD for disbursing scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria :
The Students who have secured 55% marks in class VII for General category and 50% marks for the Reserved category in the session 2015-16. The parental annual income from all sources should not exceed Rs.1. 50,0001- for all categories of students during 2015-16.

Instruction :
1. Use only Blue or Black Ball Point Pen. WRITE IN CAPITAL LETTERS. Do not mark or write outside the boxes.
2. leave one box blank between two words. Limit your name and address within the space provided for it. Please see example given below.
3. Cross {X) only one of the appropriate boxes in item no. 4,5,6,7 and 11. For Serial NO.6 & 7 attachment of requisite certificate is essential.
4. Incomplete or defective applications-cum-admit cards will be rejected.
5. Submit the application-cum-admit card in duplicate (2 copies) and Proforma-‘A’ in three copies, exact photocopy.
6. Students can not scratch/alter/change an incorrect answer once marked on OMR Sheet, by using white fluid/ eraser/ blade/tearing/wearing or in any other form.
7. Students have to retain Question Booklet after exam.
8. Students must reach the examination centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the examination and occupy the seat that bears his/her Roll Number, it is also advised to visit the exam centre one day before the examination.
9. DO NOT take the calculator, mathematical table, cell phone or any other kind of ready reckoner in the examination hall.
10. The examination will be conducted in two sessions on the same day.
11. You have to take the examination in TWO PARTS;
Part-I: is confined to the Mental Ability Test (MAT) consisting of 90 compulsory questions,
Part-2: is confined to Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) consisting of 90 compulsory questions from eight subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Civics & Economics)
12. Time for Part-I is 90 minutes and for Part-2 is also 90 minutes.
13. Each question carries 1 (one) mark.
14. All questions in the booklets are objective type. For each question FOUR possible answers are given, but only one is correct. Your task is to find out the correct answer and mark your choice in the Answer Sheet (OMR).
15. Record your answer using the blue/ black ball pen. You have to indicate your answer on the OMR Sheet by darkening the circle (e) on the serial number of the correct alternative.
16. During the examination follow the instructions of the invigilator strictly.
17. Hand over your OMR Sheet duly filled on both sides to the invigilator before you leave the examination hall.
18. Write your Name, Roll Number, Category and School as given in the Application-cum-Admit Card on the OMR Sheet and on the cover page of the Question Booklet in the space provided as per example given below.
19. Certificates of SC/ST /PH/VC/Low vision/Low Hearing/Orthopedic/Blind must attach certificate otherwise application forms will be rejected.
20. The Exam Incharge should ensure that students fill in correct information in all, specifically in Caste/ Disability Columns.
